Convenient location, not many stores left that sell dvds and encourage used book sales. Second floor has a large biography section with tons of great options. Easy to browse, staff helpful and doesn't bother book explorers.

If you are a retro video game this is a must. A lot of retro games and video games for the current generation of consoles and there is a lot of comics and manga.

Nice place, and they sell more Japanese anime goods in right price. But they really need to organize the items by genres or just the title of the anime/project/manga. The pins and key chains and other small figures are all mixed up, and I feel so difficult to find what I need. Also, they should avoid to put all posters and plastic folders in the storage because some folders and posters really got bended and damaged.

Cute bookstore with a variety of manga, anime, figures and video games. We go to one in California and we’re excited to find one in New York. It has three levels and a lot of inventory. They still enforce masks but there is space to move around.

Very interesting place just a short walk from Times Square. Lots of great finds, good quality stuff, great selection, and fairly priced! If you are a collector or just into comics, anime and manga, you owe it to yourself to visit this place.

I was really very surprised to find BOOKOFF in Manhattan. For those who are big fans of Tokyo and Japan, you will know that this is the largest chain of second hand bookshops in the country. I love how affordable everything is. You can even get a second hand DVD for $1.50. It’s totally amazing. You need this bookshop.

I stumbled on this store by coincidence. Since I was looking for books and comics store, I decided to get in. The two stories store is very cool, with books, records and CDs (who is still buying those...), some laptop, new and old gaming consoles with matching game cassettes and good selection of sci-fi and fantasy toys. If I had any place left in my suitcase, I would have definitely bought something.

I was able to find a used PlayStation 5 at this location and was charged $1,089.00 for the console but still the console works great like new. It came with a store warranty so if anything was to happen to it I can always return it. Other then the price being too high I was pleased with the purchase and not have to worry about getting one before the coming holidays.

Cool store with books, manga, video games, and toys. Feels like you’re in Japan. Everything it more expensive than what you could find online which was disappointing (e.g. they sell used Switch games for $60 that you could buy new for $30). But still fun to browse. The only thing that is w good deal here is the used books section which is upstairs, where most books are only a few dollars. I would only come here if you wanted to browse the books, as nothing else is worth buying here imo. Also the lady at the checkout was kinda rude.
