We had a short stop at Denver Dan's. Due to the wild fire in early Sept, the apples were already picked. But we had the chance to walk around the orchard and tasted the most juicy, delicious, peeled apples! The staff were so friendly. We absolutely would love to go back for actual apple picking and get a LOT of fresh apples next year!

We only stopped in for a minute but I'll definitely be back. They were some of the friendliest people I've met out here and their dumpling sauce is delicious!

Many little venues to go explore…vineyards for wine tasting, apple orchards with hard ciders to taste. Very relaxing and beautiful!

This is our spot in the apple hill area for picking apples. They have a great mix, so there's always something ripe! They have a map with the tree varieties, which is helpful.

Apples! Apples! Apples! That's Denver Dan's specialty. Pick apples in the orchard. They have signs with the varieties you can choose from. Feel free to taste as you go. Such fun for an afternoon adventure. Pie, jams, and other things can be night from the store too.

25 minute drive from El Dorado Hills. We drove out for the “Golden Delicious” apples. They are so juicy, sweet, and firm that we bought 25 lbs of them! Great experience for the kids to You-Pick their own apples. The staff is super nice. Mini bakery also!

Apple Hill was packed so we did decide to visit a few of the smaller farms to avoid the craziness. This one was on the small side but everyone was friendly got a demo on the old apple coring machine (have video not photo sorry), the little corer, bought some delicious cider, and checked out the tasting station for all their syrups, butters and I had to get the apple cider one because it was so good. So when this area gets overrun perfect choice to visit

Such a great variety of apples, many that you would never find in a store! I love picking here and come every year to get a variety of apples for my students to taste. Also a great variety of pastries, jams, etc. and a great place for kids. Definitely recommend!

We came here quite late in the season, but still managed to pick a few good apples from their apple farm, and even scored several good ones that have fallen to the ground. However, this review is solely based on the hospitality of the staff here. They were giving hands-on demos for their apple peeler/slicer and let the kids try it out. It was a hit, and the staff is so friendly. Of course, we bought the peeler/slicer and received our bag of apples for free because of it! You must also try their amazing cider sauce and their apple pie a la mode... YUM! Do yourself a favor and skip the busy roads and long lines at some of those advertised orchards. Get the true u-pick apple experience here.

Great place to visit at Apple hill. They have live animals that you can touch and deed and also give out apple samples and sell pies.
