I recently visited Barnstable Stove Shop and was thoroughly impressed. The showroom was filled with a wide variety of stoves, from traditional cast-iron models to modern pellet stoves. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, taking the time to understand my needs and preferences. I was particularly drawn to their collection of antique stoves, each with its own unique history and charm. The shop's rustic atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. They even offered to provide a demonstration of one of the stoves, giving me a chance to see it in action. While I didn't purchase a stove on this visit, I definitely plan to return in the future. I ordered a book subscription as a gift in April 2024 for almost $200 and never received it. I have been in touch several times and I get a response that 'the owner has been notified' and nothing. I now see on MapQuest that this place is 'permanently closed'. So it seems they are taking money for subscriptions without any intention of fulfilling them. Scam! Stay away.

The Manager is horrible.

One of the worst customer service The individual behind counter stated that there is no one there to hand me my diebetic medication.And said go to another cvs location to get them.There were no one in line nor he was on the phone.Just a miserable human being wants to pass his misery to people around him.Stay away from this location.This one was located inside the target store in 18360 zip.And this incident took place on 03/23/2024 around 10.30 am.
