CVS Pharmacy
I have to go into Karen-mode for this one. Picture me feeling quite sick and already having a bad day, coming to pick up my prescription, and being told to wait because the pharmacy closes for lunch. I respect the natural need for breaks, of course; but if I'd known they closed at this time, I wouldve come earlier. I'm almost curious as to whether this is a short staff situation. This lady was rude bro. It was also the way the person held their hand out for the pen without using words. Not going to lie, I felt disregarded. Mid-day closing hours weren't posted. I honestly don't know how long a prescription transfer takes, but I got there at least 6 minutes BEFORE they closed for lunch. I wish she would've just started the transfer and filled it when she was back. I would've respected that. ~Tanesha

OMG TURN DOWN THE VOLUME ON YOUR OVERHEAD SPEAKERS Started going here cause I hate the Duane Reade on John - the people that work there hate it (I blame the managers. It's always their fault if the employees are miserable) and the music is absolutely the worst in any DR in the city. I had a great experience at this CVS the first two times I went in. Today, at 7:30 in the AM, the music was blaring so loud the clerk couldn't hear me. Seriously? Why don't you just scream at everybody who comes in. Gotta find a new drugstore, again ~La

I’m not one to post, and if I could give NO STAR, I would! but this CVS is the WORST!!! They never answer the phones!! I’ve tried various times, they should at least acknowledge that someone is on hold! I’m calling on behalf of my mom. Thank God this isn’t my pharmacy. I will be reporting this to corporate and hopefully they can do something!!! ~Evangelista
BOOKOFF 49 W 45th NY Store
I was really very surprised to find BOOKOFF in Manhattan. For those who are big fans of Tokyo and Japan, you will know that this is the largest chain of second hand bookshops in the country. I love how affordable everything is. You can even get a second hand DVD for $1.50. It’s totally amazing. You need this bookshop. ~Ambient

First time there neat and calm environment two staff behind register had masks 👍 and protective shields at the crash rep. Things very organized and nice things to see. They have fridge with some food products in the front entrance to the right side. They have shopping carts and hand baskets to the left side. I liked it very nice and cute.🤗💖 ~Crystal
The UPS Store
Arrived at 2:00 on a Saturday. Sign on door says, “OUT TO LUNCH. BE BACK SOON. I waited at least 20 min after that. The hours on Saturday start at 11am and end at 5pm. This happened a couple weekends ago too. Are they that understaffed? Every weekday it’s been okay, but sometimes there’s a line out the door. ~Kavita
Staples
came at 7:45 to drop off a package, there was no line, it was peaceful and quiet. The older gentleman behind the counter patronized a new significantly younger female employee on how to stack paper and told her “you’re welcome” before she could say anything at all. Then gave me a look over his shoulder and turn his back back on me to continue what he was doing. After a few minutes of zero responsiveness and looking at his back, I left with my package. Had to go to work and have no tolerance for passive aggressive, entitled and bitter people. ~Jane

The UPS Store
First time I was there the clerk made me pay 25 dollars just to package a regular with a box size 15X15 box. Then second time went there with a box but without tape, asked the clerk for help with some tape. She responded that I will have to buy an overpriced whole round of tape if I want some tape. I the third time thought to myself, let me give them one more chance since it’s the closest to where I live, but this time they still disappoint me. I went in there bought a 10x10 box paid, paid the 5 dollar overpriced printing fee to print my own label. Went there with a tape gun ready to tape it up myself… Then the clerk that I have always encountered told me that I am not allowed to tape my package up in the store, she said not in my store, but you can take it outside. It was snowing today, and taping a package by my own on the far corner of the store will impact their service? I don’t really get why the customer doing all the work that they should provide. Called the customer service and got directed to the cooperate office phone line where only a robot is answering and hang up my call after providing no explanation or availability of agents. Really overpriced shipping and no customer service at all. The clerks at the counter were all chatting to each other, calling on the phone. Not mad here just totally dissatisfied with their service. ~Yuchun

Would be nice if the hours were consistent…on the website it says they open at 7am. A USPS employee walked by me and said 7:30am. They only open at 7am during the first week of the month. Would be nice for this to be posted on their website for the convenience of the customers. ~Deborah
