7 Best post office in New York, New York (NY) 2024

Would be nice if the hours were consistent…on the website it says they open at 7am. A USPS employee walked by me and said 7:30am. They only open at 7am during the first week of the month. Would be nice for this to be posted on their website for the convenience of the customers. ~Deborah

Abusive employees, they never help at all as if you would know as much as they know working there. They can't lift a finger literally. Yes I'm annoyed. Tried so many times to run business but I can't at this location. ~raul

I have come here twice to renew my child's passport. I don't live in Manhattan but I come here because I have had great experience and customer service from very helpful workers. Thank you David and Abdullah for making this process go very smoothly. I have gone to the post office at Woodside and Jackson Heights and have had a terrible experience at both of them. ~Cardigan

I was mailing a small package via the self-service machine, and I was curious why the postage printed didn’t have the address I had entered. Naturally I went over to the counter, trying to ask a simple question. To my surprise, the lady behind the queue-less window straight up said 10 “no” to me when I had just said “excuse me,” and went back chitchatting with the lady next window, all while there’s about three dozen people waiting. Great stuff ~Bip

Beautiful shop with surly service. I had something printed, the young woman charged me and then fell silent. I wandered the shop for about 5 min until the other associate said, "Are you being helped?" I said I was waiting for something to print, and the woman who'd helped me gestured at the printer where it had been sitting in the tray. ~Lizzie

Best post office I've been to in the city! I came here for money orders and help finding a missing package. The staff was efficient, courteous and patient. Five out of five stars. ~Andrew

The women in there are useless. Quick to get you out and don’t want to help! With their attitude no one else but the post office will hire them! ~Ziniah
