9 Best gift shop in New York, New York (NY) 2024

So. This is difficult for me because truly they have a great selection of objects. But I gotta warn people. Unless they have something in stock to buy right there. Do not purchase. I work in the design industry and understand that vendors don’t always cooperate with timelines. Covid has also made things harder. But honestly the way they manage this from a customer service standpoint alone is very bad. If I were to specify something from their store at this point I could not trust Junglee to come through and to top it off The apathy demonstrated is pretty astronomical. I’m still waiting for a part of my order that has been outstanding for 5 months at this point and I had to cancel another order because it didn’t make sense to keep waiting for it (again 5 months). Not telling you to not shop there, but just know that when they offer to order something for you you are agreeing to some very vague terms and the staff really can’t be bothered to keep you informed. I’m sad that I won’t be using them as a resource anymore but they aren’t trustworthy. ~Jonathan

Beautiful shop with surly service. I had something printed, the young woman charged me and then fell silent. I wandered the shop for about 5 min until the other associate said, "Are you being helped?" I said I was waiting for something to print, and the woman who'd helped me gestured at the printer where it had been sitting in the tray. ~Lizzie

What a fun store. I probably wouldn’t buy anything (out of my price range) but I could spend a ton of time here browsing. I had to tear my 9 year old away. So many cool and fun products … many artistic plays on common things we all use daily. ~Brian

I absolutely love Pearl River. I used to frequent their canal street shop so to come across this Chelsea Market spot was serendipitous! I loved Asian fashion and styles as a teen and young adult and seeing the store brought back so many memories. You can find cook books, gifts, novelties, dishes and more. If you’re in the nabe be sure to stop by! ~Veronica

What an incredibly unique store. The cuff links are outstanding, the service is Amazing. Michael spent a lot of time showing all of the cuff links he thought we would be interested in until we found the PERFECT set. Perfect place to find something for yourself or for a gift. Priced well. this is one of those newer revamped Bed Bath & Beyond. and i like it. big clean, brightly lit and spacious. it’s not overcrowded with merchandise like it was before. the whole store is a lot more organized and it’s way easier to find stuff by section. i have stopped here a lot more since it was renovated and actually bought stuff especially since the kitchen and appliance sections got cleaned up. prices do tend to be higher than online stores, but if you need something right away on impulse then this store has you covered. self-checkout is my jam and superquick. staff have been pretty helpful when i have tried to find things. ~Ruwan

This store was my first time visiting a Lush location in a very long time and honestly I would come back again. The staff members were so helpful and so sweet. Really love the energy and the scents at the store. I also though it was very easy to navigate. I definitely recommend if your looking for some wonderful gifts to your love ones. Different colors and scents and let's not forget the Glitter!! 10/10 loved this store! ❤️ ~Anne

This review is only about the quality of the chocolate , the store location is fine, the service is great and friendly, the selection is okay BUT having tried Neuhaus chocolates in Belgium , these chocolates are either produced in America with local ingredients or they have lost freshness during shipping. But certainly the flavour is NOT THE SAME, even though prices are…. So, don’t get me wrong , chocolates are good and probably better than many other fine chocolatiers, but you don’t get the same unique experience and tradition that Neuhaus chocolates in their natal country. ~Miguel
