The actual office is overpriced and gaudy. I went in for kitchen fixtures and then the owner starts flirting with me in the most inappropriate manner, made me feel very uncomfortable. The other employees seemed decent but after that interaction I felt like it was a sleazy environment. Stay away you’re better off at lowes. ~Lisa

So. This is difficult for me because truly they have a great selection of objects. But I gotta warn people. Unless they have something in stock to buy right there. Do not purchase. I work in the design industry and understand that vendors don’t always cooperate with timelines. Covid has also made things harder. But honestly the way they manage this from a customer service standpoint alone is very bad. If I were to specify something from their store at this point I could not trust Junglee to come through and to top it off The apathy demonstrated is pretty astronomical. I’m still waiting for a part of my order that has been outstanding for 5 months at this point and I had to cancel another order because it didn’t make sense to keep waiting for it (again 5 months). Not telling you to not shop there, but just know that when they offer to order something for you you are agreeing to some very vague terms and the staff really can’t be bothered to keep you informed. I’m sad that I won’t be using them as a resource anymore but they aren’t trustworthy. ~Jonathan

Shop that offers articles with a typically oriental minimalist philosophy, Japanese in this case. From stationery to clothing, cookware, drawer inserts, proprietary aromatherapy, highly recommended. A shopping stop to spend some time. Somewhat high prices. ~Eduardo

This location is the very best in Manhattan! I have been to every location in the City. This store is bright, organized and stocked with many items. Be sure to wear a mask and bring your own shopping bags. ~Dana

The store is big and you can have a whole home experience. From small appliances, dinnerware, furniture and kitchen accessories. Love the color schemes and everything in between. They are really pricey. My biggest complaint is the fact that I didn’t want to continue to shopping because they didn’t have a customer restroom. I was told they did but upon arrival they said they didn’t and I just left didn’t want to shop for whatever I went in for. ~Latisha

What a fun store. I probably wouldn’t buy anything (out of my price range) but I could spend a ton of time here browsing. I had to tear my 9 year old away. So many cool and fun products … many artistic plays on common things we all use daily. ~Brian

I absolutely love Pearl River. I used to frequent their canal street shop so to come across this Chelsea Market spot was serendipitous! I loved Asian fashion and styles as a teen and young adult and seeing the store brought back so many memories. You can find cook books, gifts, novelties, dishes and more. this is one of those newer revamped Bed Bath & Beyond. and i like it. big clean, brightly lit and spacious. it’s not overcrowded with merchandise like it was before. the whole store is a lot more organized and it’s way easier to find stuff by section. i have stopped here a lot more since it was renovated and actually bought stuff especially since the kitchen and appliance sections got cleaned up. prices do tend to be higher than online stores, but if you need something right away on impulse then this store has you covered. self-checkout is my jam and superquick. staff have been pretty helpful when i have tried to find things. ~Ruwan
