Abusive employees, they never help at all as if you would know as much as they know working there. They can't lift a finger literally. Yes I'm annoyed. Tried so many times to run business but I can't at this location.

Most convent post office in the jewelry district, the friendliest staff and one of the greatest assets in 47th street

Just tell the security you're going to USPS and you'll get a code to get in. It's on the 4th floor just walk around and you'll find it. Basically no line here and super friendly staffs. Totally worth it.

A true hidden gem. Hidden in a building, without any signage. You'll never have to wait on a line here. For day to day mailing needs, this place is great.

This post office is hidden in an office building and the entrance is on 47th. When you walk in you'll need to go up to the counter and provide ID in order to get a visitor pass. Once you get the pass go up to the 4th floor and go right after stepping out of the elevator then a quick left. Walk down the long hall and it's about halfway down on the right side after the room 417. When I went there was no line and I was able to get in and out in under a minute. There are no bins here so if you're only dropping off something and don't need a receipt I would go to another location.

Small mini PO. They do not carry a full range of Priority Mail sized mailing accessories. No automated machine, seems like no stamps. they can issue money orders, take packages. the queue is usually short, with friendly staff. VERY Limited hours. show ID at the front desk at 580 , go up to the fourth floor

Everything about it is horrible. Entrance is on 47th, not 5th. On the fourth floor with no signage (go straight down the hall away from the elevator quite a ways - it’s on the right). Exceedingly rude security desk which you must pass through just to go to a gd post office. Tiny post office with no automated machine, which means you have to talk to the exceedingly rude tellers.

THIS LOCATION IS *NOT* A PUBLIC POST OFFICE. While this post office does offer standard services, it is extremely difficult to get to (as others have pointed out) due to its additional use servicing the NY Appraiser's Store, handling high-value mail. Do Not Use.

Horrible service at rockerfeller center post office. They need to fire these people already and hire real employees who are willing to work. Employee who manages the line told me to go to the store window and lady at this window is just yelling at me because I show up even after I told her I was sent here. Just go back in unemployment already and let the real worker work. Way better services at Grand Central post office.

This is not a post office. It is an "appraisers office". I had a bad feeling when there was no American Flag outside building. I was told to go to the 4th floor of the sketchy building where I felt unsafe trying to find the room number. Again no flag/USA seal to be found. Just a locked door with an "Appraiser's Office Post Office" sign. Sketchy.
