Parking for trucks is a joke. You can use the "gravel lot" past the fuel islands but be prepared to get stuck or blocked in. Either way your heading, stay 3 miles south at the rest area.

It’s nice to have small places like this to park while all the big truck stops are full only downside is the price of food I paid 15$ for a burrito at Baja Fresh most expensive burrito I ever bought in my life

Second night in a row staying here due to produce loads being stupid (but that's a different story) Restrooms are clean, showers aren't as up to date as the mega truck stops but clean and hit the spot when you had load locks fail and were soaked in sweat from restacking a partially dumped trailer. Less than 9 dollars for a shower that they even provide towels for (too many little places you have to bring your own). Staff was friendly every time i went in tons of snack and drink options. Multiple restaraunts and steam counter options Subway (didn't eat here they are everywhere right?) Baja fresh was a nice change of pace. Store is clean exterior is clean. Truck parking is dirt (and that annoying super fine type which sucks) but it isn't crowded and doesn't stink of piss which for us truckers is always a plus. All in all I'll stop here again if i don't have the hours to make it where i need to be and much as I like staying at Harris ranch down the road they don't have the trucker amenities this shop does, cell service is better here and you don't have to smell the cow paddocks.

When I stopped there in March 2019 despite their high price for gas the gas station had no windshield cleaning tools (no wiper wands, paper towels, not even dirty water by the pumps); although a fast food worker inside said he would notify management of that deficiency in their service.

If you're traveling from LA to San Jose or visa versa this place is open 24 hours, has clean bathrooms and a big selection of snacks, drinks and food. The diesel is priced fairly however the unleaded fuel is over priced in my opinion. If you like Shell gasoline stop at the Buttonwillow Shell, way cheaper.

Not very modern, but it's a cool place. The guy running the store saw me taking pictures for google and reminded me to let y'all know the shelves are well-stocked.

Not much truck parking and it's all in the dirt way behind the food mart. I didn't bother stopping. The 76 is South 4 miles with better (paved)parking and a good Mexican joint.

Stopped to use the restroom during a long I-5 haul and made the unwise choice of pulling into the ARCO across the street from the Shell/Jayne Travel Plaza. Bad idea! Well I also wanted to fill up air for my tires so I walked into the Shell/Jayne Travel Plaza across the street. The gas prices at the Shell are about 10 cents more than the ARCO, but if you're in need of a meal, snacks or just need to relieve yourself, than the Jayne Travel Plaza is the place to go. I have pretty low expectations when it comes to gas stations along the freeway, so with that said I couldn't believe at not only how nice and tidy the place looked. I mean the bathrooms were amazingly clean, for a moment I felt I was using a bathroom at someone's home. The selection of snacks in the convenient store is *HUGE*, and not only that, but this is one of the few gas stations where you can get a hot meal from a fully functioning Baja Fresh Mexican restaurant inside. I know some people on Yelp! have given scathing reviews of this place, but as of February 2013 the place couldn't be more opposite of that. If I could do it over again I'd fill up at ARCO, then take care of all my other business at the Shell station.
