Bought several bottles of vodka packaged in box , one bottle was already opened. They would not exchange and did not believe me. Watch out for booze packaged in box - somebody in storeroom is drinking and putting back in box.

Prices are only good if you don't go anywhere else, Cigarette City by savemart is better for tobacco products and the staff are way better at cigarette city. The staff at city food and liquor are rude, always have an attitude, and are not at all happy to help in any way shape or form.

=(PROS)= +Convenient location. +Nice and friendly staff. +Decent prices on cigarettes. +Good prices and decent selection of beer (from singles to cases to kegs), wine, and liquor. +Big selection of snacks and drinks; (candy, chips, soft drinks, energy drinks, coffee, etc...). +Pizza and other hot food (which they are happy to make fresh for you if it has been sitting under the lamps for a while). +They also carry a variety of different exotic wild game jerky if you're into that or are feeling adventurous; (alligator, venison, maple duck, pheasant, ostrich, wild boar, buffalo, elk, chipotle, mexican style chorizo, jalapeno pork, hawaiian pork, honey ham, teriyaki, smoked, cajun and more...). +Hats, shirts, lighters, knives, gadgets and toys, etc... +Sports teams merch; (NFL/MLB/NBA); (lighters, keychains, lanyards, beanies, hats, shirts, collectibles, etc...) =(CONS)= -No Gas/Diese -They close a bit early; (6AM-11PM Sunday-Thursday and till just 12AM Friday-Saturday). -I don't think they have a public restroom. I could be wrong, but the laundromat next door has one for sure. =(SUMMARY)= -+If it's not too late and you're not in need of fuel, you can't go wrong here for snacks, or cigs or beer/liquor. -+Convenience, selection and fair pricing make this a solid shop. -+I prefer City Food & Liquor OR Lathrop Liquor (which is open a bit later til 1:30AM on Fridays and Saturdays) over the other options in Lathrop such as Valero/Two Guys Food & Fuel, Chevron/Circle K, Joe's Travel Plaza, or Fast Lane. ...and absolutely avoid Shell, ARCO AM/PM, and Power Mart (The Alien/UFO Store).
