Great gym, basic but has what you need. The owner is great and incredibly knowledgeable.

Was in town for skiing and this had all the serious strength training equipment I needed to keep up my weight lifting while I was here, with good drop in prices and extremely convenient access. Super happy to find this here!

Simple and easy to use gym. Day access easily available online that will instantly generate a code for entry. No one else was there when I went. Plenty of equipment and weights, although there is no cable machine. Very clean. Highly recommend.

Good place to workout, not busy at all. Easy to buy a day pass online and get in with the door code emailed to you automatically. $15/day. Beware of the “quiet hours” however: 9-9.

Got a few excellent lifts in while visiting mammoth. Very dope gym and setup. Nasty pump too, believe it to be due to altitude, be sure to enjoy.

This is a great small-ish lifting gym. It has a friendly feeling between the members since many have been working out on squat racks next to each other since it opened. There are three squat racks and two lifting platforms. I've been a member for 2 years and have only had to wait for a squat rack once, and even then someone offered to rotate with me. This place is great if you need somewhere while you're on vacation, and it's not overcrowded. I'm often the only one in there; the most people I've seen in there is 5 of us. Keep up the great work, Rachel! We love our close-knit gym

Had a great 2 months while living up here working out at Mammoth Strength Gym! I love that most of the time you have the entire space to yourself & if there are other people there, then they're always really friendly :) TONS of equipment & a sound system that you can connect your phone to or use the one that's there to play whatever you want. I'll definitely be back next winter!

Rachel has created a space that offers the serious weightlifter, the athlete in recovery or strength training a clean and well equipped gym. Personal training is also available. I'm so grateful that she's made the drop in feature so easy to navigate. Once a personal waiver has been signed, she issues a code to be used for entry. Really simple and convenient process. I'll definitely be back.

I am giving 2 not 1 star because my group was at fault for not signing an online waiver per person. We assumed we could buy in bulk and have one person buy on behalf of several of us. This was a bad assumption on our part . But the customer service we received as horrendous. I want to preface this with the fact that I have dropped in to over 50 CrossFit/Weightlifting gyms around the world (Europe, Asia) and the United States. This place was by far the worst experience I have ever had. 1. The code was ridiculously hard to use. You cannot simply press the 4 digit and # sign. Instead you had to first 'activate' the keypad and have all the blue lights turn on before pressing your numbers. 2. We explicitly followed the "quiet hours" rule. We were a group of 6 weightlifters and arrived after 9am to be courteous. About 10 minutes into our arrival - the owner Rachel arrived in a very frantic state, screaming at us. She was so frazzled and dramatic she rattled off a ton of concerns I could not articulate. Primarily, she complained about the waivers and lifting too loudly. She said "please do not lift heavy weights over there [in the area by the rig]. I built those platforms because I have neighbors and they don't like the noise." Okay so don't post quiet hours if what you really mean are ALL HOURS ARE QUIET. Don't build a gym where your neighbors hate you and then proceed to blame your customers for the location. 3. She continued to sit and watch us like a security guard after she went on her 5 minute tirade. This was not only massively distracting and completely put my lifting session in the crapper but it also made me feel like a delinquent minority she was worried was going to steal her equipment (we were a group primarily consisting of people of Asian descent). The irony of this is that between 7 of us we had 2 doctorates, 2 masters degrees, and 6 bachelors - all very professional Olympic weightlifters average age of the group was 27. We are probably the most mature large group of people she has ever had. In the end Rachel picked one person and apologized to her, and walked off very blatantly disrespecting the rest of us. All in all - don't go to this place if you have a choice. The owner is a ton of drama, and we're there to go on vacation and get a session in - not be treated like some street level criminals and screamed at like we are children. Spend 5 extra minutes to drive to another gym and save yourself the distractions.

Hands down best gym in Mammoth! Super clean, well managed, reasonably priced, and has all the top equipment you need. Perfect place to get your CrossFit, HIIT, or Bootcamp training done while in the mountains.
