We moved locations within Sun Resorts and went to level and stabilize when the system failed unexpectedly! The entire Class A Coach listed to one side and the system froze! We were stuck and our infant son was inside. In fear we called and John helped us without even thinking about payment! He spent a considerable amount of time, walked us through what to do, and followed up to ensure we were safe! It all worked and we couldn’t be more grateful! Thanks John! Your knowledge, expertise and compassion will never be forgotten!

I called to see if I could get mobile support on my RV air conditioning unit that was not working. Although I was outside his service area, he took the time to offer a few suggestions on what could be wrong via text messaging. Without even seeing my RV in person, we was able to direct me to the problem and I was able to get it fix myself. Turned out to be a broken wire between the thermostat and the rooftop unit. I spliced it back together and all is fine in the cooling world. His knowledge was superb and I would use him if ever in his service area. I highly recommend him to others in the area. I called John hoping to get an onsite appointment for our air conditioner that wasn't working. Since it was a warranty item, he couldn't help us as we would need to go through the dealer. Instead of hanging up the phone at that point, he got on the phone with my husband and walked him through all the things he would have tested only to confirm that the unit was in need of replacement. John didn't need to do this, he could have simply said I'm not available, but he didn't. Appreciate the help more than you know! Service: Air conditioning

Called this man to ask about an electrical issue. He asked me what town I was in. I told him what town I lived in and then which development. Which is when is said “I don’t serve (development name). Good luck” and hung up on me. I even tired to ask why but couldn’t even get my sentence out before he ended the call. I was directed to this man by an Rv service store in my area so I know he comes to this town. But I guess will never be able to contact him. Service: Electrical

Our RV lost110 power while camping. Brought the unit home and texted Certified Honest RV Repair. He came out about a week later, fixed the problem and inspected our electrical system, finding evidence of dampness around the cord connection in the process. Told us how to address that issue even though it really had nothing to do with his service call. We feel so much safer knowing a professional fixed the issue. Very nice guy to deal with, very fair pricing and none of the attitude you sometimes get from dealer service, especially if you didn’t buy your RV from them. Just a nice, professional guy all around. At the time we had our issue it was clear he was very busy, but it was worth the brief wait to have him come out. The name of the business says it all. Will100% use his services again! Service at your location instead of leaving your RV at a dealership where anything can happen to it. John is knowledgeable and explained what he found and gave recommendations for my problem. Have recommended him and will not hesitate to use him again if I have need of an RV repair.

John seems friendly and helpful, but our experience was a bit disappointing. We called John about a problem with an outlet and a set of switches in our camper. He fixed the outlet and let us know that he would need to come back for the switches. Since then, I've attempted numerous times to contact John via text and call, but have received no response. So...we paid over $200 for his service and only half of our problem was fixed. This wouldn't be so bad if we received some sort of explanation or reasoning. If you're looking for a timely response and good communication, I'm not sure you'll find it here. Service: Electrical

We called in desperation because the bedroom slide on our new fifthwheel RV would not close. We were within an hour of having to be off our campsite and head home. The owner told me he could not get to us until that evening. He walked me through finding the controller, which I did based on his knowledge. I never would have found it. He called me back after finding the controller and walked me through overriding the controller and getting the slide closed. Thanks to him we got home a few hours late. I tried to get him to charge me for his services HE refused to accept payment. If you are in the area and need his services I would HIGHLY recommend him. He knew more about my RV than the manufacturer emergency hot line or the dealer.

John is prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. And yes, honest! He immediately assuaged my newbie fears that I had an unfixable problem and went out of his way to complete the job, even driving 40 mins to get an unusual plumbing connector. I have a brand new Class B Winnebago that developed a plumbing leak just 2 weeks before my first long trip. Winnebago service (over 100 miles away) was booked out 2 months. I was thrilled to get an appointment with John the next day. John went right to the problem as soon as he arrived even though he said he’d never worked on a rig like mine in the past. Highly recommend!

John is a good technician but customer service is not his strong suit. We asked his help to correct a problem with the levelers on our motorhome. He did come out 2 weeks ago and believes there's a faulty part that he would have to order. The same part he replaced 2 years ago. Since then we have followed up repeatedly by phone, e-mail and text to get a status on the order. He has not responded in any fashion. If you're that busy, get some help. And this is not the first time we've tried to reach John for service or follow up and found that he is VERY slow to respond. . So now we don't know whether to put our RV to bed for the winter without the repair or not. C'mon John, let us know what's going on. Word travels fast in the RV community.
