I am a maid of honor for a bachelorette and was trying to look for the best place to take the group. I decided to give Bite the Fruit a visit and we had the best time! They were very patient with mimosa induced group of girls. They took their time to let us test out specific items we were showing interest in and was very successful with their patience and great customer service because our group of 9 at least bought one thing. I highly recommend this place!

Great selection of all your needs. This store was for decades the home of DC's legendary Leather Rack. They also had a great selection for all your naughty needs - but at a much more reasonable price. I purchased an item that cost more than twice the price you will find online. If you can wait for a day or two for whatever you want/need, ORDER IT ONLINE. Your wallet will thank you.

While the store at times can get a little expensive, it’s worth it for the amazing selection of items from all over the world. Everything you could ever want for your bedroom (or kitchen...I don’t judge) — Pleae support this LGBTQIA+ owned and operated store in the heart of Dupont.

The owners of this store need to re-evaluate their policy and how they treat paying customers. I walked in this store fully intentioned to shop and was asked by the woman behind the counter to leave my PURSE. My purse, that contains my wallet and all of my personal effects in it. If it was a shopping bag or anything of that nature I can fully understand but in this day and age no one should feel comfortable leaving their purse ANYWHERE. I was really excited to shop at this store but was disappointed by their lack of customer service.

Purposely deceptive practices, when displaying sale items. I heard the older man, NOT gentleman tell a young couple that everything on a rack was included in the sale. This was after they mentioned that many items had no blue dot. They didnt buy anything, but I attempted to. Unfortunately for them, I noticed that I didnt receive the discount. When I confronted the jerk, as to why he was lying about the sale area, he said that he told us "this area", making a ridiculous gesture, that implied only the very center of the rack was included. That was the only area with blue dots, but there is no doubt that he was being deceptive. I have been going a few times per year, since I moved to the area. Never again. Now, they tried to buy off my bad review, by offering me the discount. No way. They arent sorry about their deception. They are only sorry that I called them on it. Wouldnt go back, even for free.

Rayceen Pendarvis enthusiastically recommended this "best" "gay" adult shop, but it's not a real gay shop, it's a str8 shop w/ a collection of gay items at best, which cost you an arm and a leg and can't hold candle to Fort Troff at all.

This place has a great selection. I was impressed by the mix of attire, toys, gear, and novelties that they managed to display in the small space while maintaining merchandise shopability. Leather, rubber, neoprene/ clothing that covers, some that reveals/ straps, restraints, harnesses/ fetish, fashion, and the functional... And the guy at the counter was not only helpful but he knew what he was talking about..
