I was told I could use my foreign license to drive the truck but on the day of the pick up, they refused to rent it to me and left me to figure it out; I had to call a friend to drive it at the last minute. Staff is rude and units are dirty. Next time I move, I'll hire a professional service.

The rearview mirror cover on the passenger side was broken and fell every time we open and close the door. We left it inside the vehicle. When we returned the vehicle, the agent accused us of having broken it without even wanting to listen to us. He was quite aggressive. We asked to speak to the manager, waited for more than 30 min but she never came. They wrote an accident report and charged $150 for a rearview mirror that we haven´t broken. The customer service at this location is simply unacceptable.

I was promised to be able to switch to a monthly rate on the first week over the phone. That never happened and had to return it in the middle of my need of use. I had to drive there twice and kept calling daily since I was promised to switch rates over the phone and all what I had to do was talk to costumer service and guess what? 5-7 hrs on hold over for costumer service. And when I had to return it they charged me daily rate. Including the mileage I drove extra twice to go and take care of their problem and make sure I’m on the clear. I feel being scammed. As a small business owner and still dealing with this mess. Owner promised to take care of it , owner was emailed. Seriously I spent my week trying take care of this, not focusing on my business. And owner was another person gave us an empty promise. Way more to the story but yea. Not a good business.

Outstanding customer service. It was a great experience and the location has set the bar for customer service for any other rental company in town. I will definitely recommend this location to anyone who needs a truck rental from now on.

I rented a trailer from this location July 2022. My husband is retired USAF and I have utilized a lot of different U-HAUL locations across the country. This is a well organized location with a lot of rentals. I was able to rent a trailer the day before I needed it in the middle of summer which is amazing. I picked up the trailer here. The location has rentals, moving supplies, and storage units. It has a couple of buildings. The first building has the offices with supplies and rental check-in. There were 3 people working check-in, which made it move quickly. After checking in, you drive around to the next building following the “Rentals” signs. They had the rentals well organized and the people working there were in constant contact with the front office so they knew who was coming. They were friendly and professional and quickly found and connected my rental trailer. I utilized the U-HAUL app to rent the trailer and do the preliminary check in which made the process (at the location) go quickly. It also allows you to return the rental after hours using the app which can be handy. If you are renting something that you will have to tow for the first time, I do recommend going to a U-HAUL location close to you the week before renting, to ensure that your vehicle, hitch, and ball are all rated and capable of towing the item you rented. They can also make sure that you have the proper wiring and that it works. (Modifications at the last minute usually are not fun so taking care of this early is a good thing) Good luck - moving is an adventure but it can also be stressful… You will survive this moment

I went in to get a van to put stuff in a small 5x5 storage unit. It went extremely smooth and I got the exact amount of miles I needed. The clerk helping advised I do double what I thought and she was spot on. She was Helping me along the way avoid extra charges from underestimating. Would highly recommend

I am actively recommending that people avoid U-Haul storage facilities. The facility was in terrible condition. The first unit I was assigned was an upper level unit covered in cockroaches and bugs. I was not made aware prior to move in that I would be assigned an upper-level unit. They moved me to a basement unit which had rat traps, water damage, cockroaches, and bugs everywhere. I refused the unit and found a non-U-Haul facility to store my belongings. Absolutely terrible experience.

Picking up the van from a mobile device was not easy. The instructions were not clear. The staff were extremely rude. When I found my truck, the staff has parallel parked it in between two other trucks so closely that I could not get it out and the staff had to give me a new van.

The GM on site helped me and was VERY nice and understanding. He smiled a LOT! Made me feel better when I was worried about the rental process due to a bad experience I recently had with another moving company.

They did not call me before my scheduled pickup date (which they had listed wrong) to inform me that my pickup location had been changed to 5th Street. After finally sorting out where and when I could pickup the truck, halfway through the trip, we realized they gave us a truck with no oil. Braking was terrible and shifting gears was a nightmare, but that’s to be expected when the oil life is 0%.
