Amazing, authentically old world store. The wood counters at the cashiers' tills look like they were made in the 1980s. A wide variety of fresh produce including items not always easily available at the typical American grocery store/ supermarket. Lots of cured meats, and smoked and salted fish. Real, genuine rye sourdough loaves - the taste, feel and, erm, gravitas of this bread! The bread is supplied by Edelweiss European Bakery (Ft Lauderdale). It is truly superb. Bottled and canned goods mainly from, it seems, Russia. Beers from Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium and more. But watch out, they charge double the price for Pilsner Urquell compared to Publix.

The owner needs to bring more products from Ukraine and Baltic countries rather than removing them from the shelves. They have better quality. Besides I’m not buying anything from Russia anyway because of wars that they started. This is just hurtful. There are plenty of better supermarkets around to visit. This nostalgic shop is mostly valuable for seniors Apart from that. Some locally prepared foods like «Пелемешки от Олежки с капустой» were so bad that went straight into trash. Homemade bread with coriander smelled great but appeared to be wet and heavy on the inside and hard to eat. The whole place is dirty and frequently smells bad.

Well despite the fact that cashier was extremely rude i guess it is a part of Russian store experience if you miss your hometown, but they also sold me expired salmon roe. It smelled like sewer or something rotten . Never pleasant experience there.

Today 5/14/22 at around 4:55 pm after shopping for 8 years in this store, I was brutally irrespected by the Security Guard Carlos, a hispanic mestizo as he noticed that a box of beer that was placed in the bottom shelft of my shopping car was forgotten. As I was leaving the store, - which does not have a bar code alarm- the guard probably saw it and waited for us to leave and this guard screamed at us to return to pay. I immediatedly realized that we forgot to pay the beer; returned to the cashier and noticed that the guard continued very loudly to speak with another cashier about me and the beer in a very disrespectful manner. At this time, I asked my cashier to direct me to the Store Manager who was no help and was as rude as the guard and seemed uncaring about the store customers and the treatment delivered by the store staff. My brother was on the front of the store and witnessed another customer coming onto my defense and tokd the Security Guard that the manner and delivered of his alert was rude and on call for. The guard basically banned the customer out of the store as he was the store owner. And the customer just answered that the Security guard would no longer be employed there. Then this guard told the customer screaming in his face F*** you. My brother went to this guard and spoke to him in Spanish and told him that his behavior to all customers no matter the race and language was unacceptable as my brother speaks also English, Russian Polish, and Spanish. Seek an alternative store. I will seek legal action after this treatment of harrassment, aggressive treatment, threatening behavior and obviously ratial discrimination.

The security was very aggressive with us because 2 bottles of chocolate milk were hiding behind the 3 boxes of water bottles and we didn't see it. The security told us, and , sorry, we give it back to them after we paid 200$ for everything what we bought there. After that , the security came after us on the street , very aggressive, telling us to not came back to the store anymore because we wanted to still that 2 chocolate . Really?? I have enough money to buy them . Caviar is so sour so the first reaction is to spit it out 🤢 🤮They said that was the best! May be 🤨 the best out of worst and fake but it’s nothing like a caviar. No return policy as far as I remember from my last experience.
