Really cool stop if you're in the area. Takes less than an hour to walk through, see everything from barn owls to pelicans to bald eagles. Totally free. Not sure I'd drive way out of my way for the place unless I really loved birds though.

Great little place to visit and learn about the birds. The staff are very friendly. The birds are cool and you are very close to them. The American White Pelicans are ENORMOUS and beautiful. Plenty of owls to see. Some (free) parking available. Nice sized covered wood resting/education area. Visit the gift shop and make a donation to the sanctuary.

Nice Sanctuary on the beach. They do rescue and release of seabirds as well as other birds across the country. Injured birds are permanent residents and well cared for. Free to get in but leave a donation if you can. The gift shop has some nice things. You can park out front off of Gulf Blvd, if Google Maps takes you around back like it did to us.

Nice little sanctuary to walk around and learn about the birds they care for. Volunteers are very friendly and they do a great job taking care of the place. After you see all the birds they have an observation deck looking over the beach.

I stopped by with my children who are learning about birds at school. Lots of birds to see. A volunteer brought out an owl for us to meet. Another worker showed us some baby owls they had rescued just yesterday. She was headed out to try to reunite them with their parents. We really enjoyed the many pelicans, in particular. Interesting place that's doing great work. Free parking and admission, but donations are taken.

This bird sanctuary is amazing. They help all injured birds and try their hardest to get them back into the wild. Last week they released 20+ pelicans. What a beautiful thing.

Very small & cute!! A true animal sanctuary, not a zoo. They have some long term residents & a lot of wild birds actually hanging about! They must know it's a safe place. The white pelicans were HUGE and fun to watch. Very cute, and you can enter from the parking lot or the beach. The tower had a beautiful view of the beach too. No admission cost. Didn't see any employees or staff while we were there.

This place is fantastic and the staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to talk about the rescue efforts. My wife and I stumbled upon them on a bike ride and I went back a few days later with friends and also do make a donation. Keep up the great work and thank you for providing a rescue that also educates the public

I'm thankful there is place to help save and rehabilitate injured and suffering birds. It's free admission, which is great but I highly recommend donating. We need more rescue centers like this.

Parking and admission are free. They have a ton of birds of all kinds that have been rescued and some wild birds that fly over top. It is a well kept place and they do take donations which I strongly encourage. There is also an observation tower overlooking the beach. We didn't get the tour due to schedule issues on our end. I would highly recommend it's a diamond in the rough
