The Shark Boat at John's Pass offers a truly exceptional experience and is the most exciting way to see Boca Ciega Bay! The Shark Boat creates a large wave (wake) behind her that entices the Dolphins to jump, surf, splash, and ride along with you as we cruise through Boca Ciega bay. You'll have a chance to see all the action from the safety of this 40-foot USCG certified vessel. While dolphin sightings are not guaranteed, you are very likely to see them throughout the cruise. She runs 60-minute cruises up to four times daily (seasonal variance applies). The vessel is located in John's Pass Village on Madeira Beach. Reservations are highly recommended as space is limited. We did the Dolphin Quest today on the Shark Boat. It was such a cool experience. We saw a group of dolphins jumping for us individually and all together at times too. We got lucky and got to see a baby as well. It was such a neat experience that was very reasonably priced. The tour guides were professional and fun. They also had drinks and snacks available for purchase. I definitely recommend this company!

We had so much fun on this tour! Dolphins swam right next to us! I got some amazing pictures and videos. It was very relaxing as well. My family and I had a great time. The captain and his helper were pretty amazing too. So glad we went.

We went on the early 11 am tour. A short trip further into the bay and the captain knew exactly where to find the dolphins. We saw atleast 6 and I got amazing photo's of the three that wanted to tail the boat and jump in the waves. I will definitely do this tour again and recommend it to friends.

So much fun today on the Shark boat. Capt. Roger and S were amazing guides and found a few pods of dolphins with babies. Capt. Roger tried to get them to jump in the wake but they weren't having it which is fine as it was still an amazing experience. Definitely recommend. My son had a blast and even got to drive the boat for a few minutes.

Great dolphin tour! Our captain, Dustin, and deck hand, Rory, had a wonderful sense of humor. Loved their appreciation for 80’s music, too. Thoroughly enjoyed watching a large pod of dolphins.

Went out on the Shark boat today at 2pm. There was only 6 of us . It was very relaxing and beautiful out . Great crew ! Coolest looking boat ever !

Awesome experience with a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. It wasn't long before we had several dolphins playing in our wake. Great fun. Highly recommend.

Went out on June 4th the ride was a lil over 1 hour to see dolphins. We were out there for a time and no dolphins so of course we all were bummed that it wasn't going to happen then all of a sudden I saw a fin and there they were, swimming with the Shark Boat and it was absolutely amazing to see. We had 3 Dolphins swimming beside the boat at times and they were so close. I had the most amazing day seeing the dolphins and got alot of videos. Well worth the price and will never forget the experience. Lots of fun 😊. Thanks to the crew for a fantastic day and we had our pictures taken by the Captain of the Boat!!

Captain Josh and First mate Grace were awesome! They went the extra mile to make sure we had a great experience! They are both very entertaining as well. We understood that seeing dolphins is not a guarantee but he worked with other Captains to figure out where to go and sure enough, we saw some! First mate Grace offered to take pics of our family on the boat and after Captain Josh took our pics in the mouth of the Shark so shark teeth gave an extra special ambiance! So worth the money!

Captain Jeff and Kiersten made our excursion a great experience. The price was reasonable, Kiersten gave interesting info about the dolphins and Johns Pass area, and Captain Jeff was able to get the dolphins to ride the waves at least 3 times! Kids get a turn driving the boat and the campy shark shape makes it fun.
