We had an awesome meal! They really have taken all the customers feedback and made changes to make things better! That’s what community is supposed to be about and these new owners and management are doing just that! Thanks for listening to your customers!

Love the retro decor. Our server was super nice and attentive. And the food was yummy. Can't wait till we can come again to try some other things. We drove an hr to come try this place and it did not disappoint.

Staff is very friendly and attentive. I had the very berry salad with grilled chicken which was fabulous. I love a good chocolate martini, and I noticed on the menu that they use chocolate ice cream in their's so I ordered one. What I got was not a martini. It was a milkshake...a milkshake big enough for sharing. I was sure the waitress had misunderstood me, but she confirmed it was their choc martini. I couldn't taste any vodka, but It was so very good, not that I could drink even half of it. I was disappointed that it wasn't what I was expecting. I actually went back again 2 nights later for dinner but there were no nearby parking spaces available so I ate elsewhere.

We haven’t been here in quite some time. In fact, I couldn’t remember when so we thought we’d give it a try today. We each ordered Fenders breakfast, asking for bacon crispy. When the meals were delivered to the table, the bacon was not as ordered. It was done, but no need to try to send it back and such, just deal with it. We did order a side of hash browns to split. As we each put some on our plates, oil pours from them. I was able to scoop them up and leave a tablespoon or so of oil on the plate. We each had a look of surprise when we started to eat. The hash browns were not fully cooked 🤦‍♂️. Honestly they were cold inside, but some crisp on one side. The grits were also unusual. It seemed like they put a scoop of sausage gravy and sour cream in them to make them go further. They had a really odd taste. With all this being said, I won’t order breakfast here again, but might try something else. Then the bill was delivered. After it came back to sign, I noticed something different than other restaurants. The handy tip insinuator they can program onto the receipt was different than most. Not the standard 15/18/20%. Nope, they suggested 18/20/22% and in an opposite order! 22/20/18%! The waitstaff needs to work for these amounts. Especially if higher than average, I expect better than average service. Make sure the food is perfect before it gets to my table. This is an honest review just as things were ordered and delivered. I might go back, but I will definitely demand better quality.

I really LOVE the new Fenders Diner! The alley area is set up so nicely with lots of seating, sail shades, and a stage with a huge tv. The food is always great but today we tried a couple of new items on the menu. The Buffalo Chicken Dip is THE BEST I’ve ever had! Great homemade chips included. I just had to try the grilled Mac n cheese sandwich and, as weird as it sounds, it was wonderful! Total comfort sandwich! Love the dark beer on tap. The perfect dessert after a delicious lunch.

First time we have been, we will be back! Food was delicious. Service was very quick. The staff was friendly. It was too hot to sit in the alley area. We will definitely be trying the adult beverages in the future.

Have to try this that is deep fried hard boiled eggs. We were leary to try, but glad we got them. Skillet Lasagna was very good. Can't wait to try again.

Stopped here for the first time for late lunch. Ordered the Rip & Dip with fried okra (okra $2 extra) and the Chili cheeseburger with crinkle cut fries sprinkled with seasoning salt. Chili was on the spicy side but entire dish overall was very tasty. The Rip & Dip was like a French dip. Roll was fresh and crusty outside and soft inside. Meat was tender and overall a tasty sandwich. The upgraded fried okra (in place of fries) were good but even though the menu indicated they were "house made", I can't equivocally verify that. To me, they seemed not too different from boxed/frozen. But they were fried well...and not greasy. Our overall visit there was positive; staff was efficient and friendly and the restaurant was clean and designed nicely to represent an old fashioned diner. Our only suggestion would be to offer more variety (didn't even see a hot dog on the menu) as most diners do. Maybe they scaled back because of the pandemic. An old menu from a number of years reflected more meal options.
