This ukulele shop blew me away. I dabbled with ukulele. Sam took my buddy and I on this journey into the finer details and aspects of the ukulele. Both my buddy and I purchased ukuleles. Great store and people. If you go to Kauai and you like ukulele, you have to schedule it into your vacation plans.

We went to the store with very little knowledge...this awesome couple made it a simple and less complicated process. They were very generous in letting us try different kinds of ukes. It was a great and pleasant experience...so glad we visited.

saying the usual "good selection", "friendly staff", etc. is inadequate! Sam always made the effort to find the specific instrument that sang to you! He and his family provided exceptional service and never shied away from sharing their knowledge of the history, manufacture, & playing of ukuleles. I cannot recommend the Kamoa store in Kapa'a enough!

While on vacation several years ago my daughter and I who are both musicians stopped by the Kamoa store to check out some ukuleles. It was a wonderful experience and we learned so much about the instrument. We our first purchase and later when back in Seattle we ordered a second one with a built in pre-amp. My daughter recently brought it out to use in her songwriter showcase and discovered the battery tray was missing. I contacted the store to see if the was still available and they sent it to us at no charge! It is rare to find customer service like that anymore. Thank you Kamoa!!!

2014 bought my first ukulele at kapaa .love it great exsperiance. Nice instrument, was back april this year bought a tennor ukulele beautiful instrument passed the first one I bought to a friend who always wanted one.everyone compliments on the great sound and quality. Sam was awesome! Really cool little store in the middle of Kapa'a town. We went in curious about ukuleles. Sam took the time to give us a demonstration of how versatile the ukulele can be. Then he handed me one and gave a quick lesson. I highly recommend checking them out.

**ULTIMATE Ukulele experience on Kauai. Family owned and loved. What a surprise to find from 11am to 2pm Ukulele lessons with Sam to make you fall in love with the enchanting sound and melodies. His passion is contagious about learning the proper playing technique to set you up for success with your ukulele (not just selling one). My only regret is not having more time to spend learning and playing with the best! Thanks so much Sam and his family who make buying a ukulele one of my favorite memories of the island.

We were completely amazed at the experience of coming here. Not only was it the coolest Uke buying experience we have ever had but it was an educational experience as well. The quality of the Ukes was absolutely the best and they stand behind all their Ukes like no other place I’ve seen. We always buy our instruments from mom and pop stores but this is the ultimate home town experience. Free lessons and customer service that is beyond compare. Plus a superb selection of everything. We loved it and there is no reason to look elsewhere on the island. Just go here and you won’t regret it.

The owner is very knowledgeable and talented. He gives free lessons as well in the store. I was able to handle and play any ukulele I wanted. They gave me a pretty good discount on a ukulele that had some minor blemishes that came from being used in lessons. They sell online and only will ship blemish free ukulele's, so they were fine selling with a discount to someone in person.

I purchased a M5G two years ago in your shop in Kauai, I play it every night and absolutely love it! The sound is perfect, holds it's tuning, my guitars are collecting dust. Outstanding, Mike
