I was a 1099 Sub-Contractor. I owed over 7 years in back taxes and owed over $175k in both Federal/State taxes. I was getting letters from the IRS and worried about IRS levy freezing the funds in my personal checking account. The IRS Debt Dragon got so large I could not face it alone and I knew it was about to destroy me. I needed help and fast! I heard about Precision and decided to call. Free at last free at last !! Contacting Precision Tax was about the best thing I’ve done in awhile ! Yes it took awhile , especially with the Covid situation, but I couldn’t ask for better professionalism , courtesy, & knowledge of details from Scott , the tax preparation team , and the EA assigned to my case . I was treated with the utmost respect from each and every individual associated with Precision Tax , from the people answering the phone to the billing department. They worked with me and always had an answer and solution. A special thanks to Miss Jinney Payne !!! She was the EA on my case , I was in dire straits and she was a shining light sent from above !! It was like she was right down the street from me , there was never a time I couldn’t talk to her via phone or email . I always knew when she was in or out or busy with meetings or corresponding with the IRS , I felt like I was at the top of the list and she was fighting tooth and nail for me . I have been a contractor for the past 20yrs, and if you are familiar with contract work you know it's either feast or famine in this world today. I had some lean years and had gotten myself into a real mess with back taxes with The IRS. I thought I could make up the money and pay my debt, but the debt got out of control. I searched to the end of the internet for a firm that could help me deal with the IRS on my behalf, and kept coming back to Precision Tax Relief (PTR). I was apprehensive about using a firm that was half way across the country, but I gave PTR a call. I was impressed from the very 1st person that answered the phone. She asked me some basic questions about my situation, and was very personable to me, not like she was put out and reading a questionnaire off of a computer screen. She had a tax resolution pro call me the very next day that was assigned to my case, whom I will for this review refer to as "Joy" because that was what she was to work with. "Joy" treated me with respect and I could tell that she genuinely wanted to help me resolve my problem and cared about the outcome. PTR made it very easy to gather information they needed and answered any questions I had no matter how small. If I called with a question, and "Joy" was busy, she always called right back no matter what. (During the process I had decided to have PTR do my Federal and State tax returns to keep all of my eggs in 1 basket, so to speak, and they did an excellent job on that also)! Once they had made an offer to the IRS, she called me often to keep me updated on the status of my case. It took a very long time for responses from the IRS during the process, much longer than normal due to the pandemic, but she constantly kept in touch while we waited for my case to be reviewed. The day finally came and I was given an IRS case worker and it didn't take them any time to review and resolve the case due to the excellent preparation by "Joy" and PTR. My case was resolved for a little below 6% of my debt to the IRS. In summation, PTR is a very well organized, knowledgeable, and reputable firm that I would highly recommend to anyone who is in a situation with the IRS that seems hopeless to get out of, take it from me and don't wait like I did and call them to get your life, and piece of mind back today.

Precision Tax Relief was the best decision I made 5 years ago to help me with my IRS bill. The large bill was due to a company I closed down and we had a major bill the company couldn't pay. I can still remember when I 1st called Precision Tax, I was scared the IRS would take my house, car and I would go to jail, I was so down and out. That they listen and told me how they could help me with my tax issues. Their rate for doing this service was reasonable compared to other Tax companies. Every year Precision Tax Relief ( Melinda Elwell and the team ) would have to renegotiate my payment plan because my life and my funds would take another turn down in the dumps. Melinda would listen to me and get all my documents and help me with the negotiations of my payment bill to the IRS. I'm now done with the payments and because of Melinda ( my gardening Angle) it is a true Independence for me this weekend. It's July 4th weekend. God bless America and Precision Tax Relief.
