I love this place! I had seen it going to Sedlmayer Resort & Restaurant and looked to see what time it closed. 8pm! Outstanding! We could have dinner, look at pottery and support local artists. Many of the colors used were all my favorite colors in blues, greens and sand. Some were muted which I love but some had that great punch of color. I wonder how difficult it is to get such deep blues and greens. I picked out the pieces I wanted and looked around for someone to pay for them. It was self service! So cool! I know it is not a big deal for some but I loved that I was able to wrap up my items, place them in a bag, add up the prices, check against the list for total price (to include tax) and then run my credit card. You hardly ever get to practice the honor system. I loved many of the pieces on display especially the giant coffee mug and it was giant! It was tough but I settled for a smaller mug with beautiful abstract splashes that hinted at fish swimming and 2 bowls with almost similar coloring. I did not see the shelf of pottery by Alicia until it was too late. Next time I will head there first! I always want to encourage new and young artists! Thank you for your beautiful work and my first sales experience!

Awesome selection and variety of handmade pottery. I purchased a few bowls and took info for when I want some more for gifts. Beautiful quality! I've already gifted a fruit bowl for Christmas.

This is one of the most unique stores in North Idaho. The pottery is all made by the family who resides behind the store. It is beautiful pottery with some unique designs, but the most unique thing about the store is that it is an open-air store that utilities a self service/honor system of purchasing. To pay, you simply add up what you owe and drop it in a drop box inside the covered portion of the porch. Bring cash when you visit because you will want to take home a mug, a chicken roaster, a butter dish, a plant pot, a full set of bowls or dishes, or maybe even a hanging bird house. The picture shows two butter dishes and a mug that I have purchased over the past few years. My next trip there I plan on getting a full set of mugs... They are big, man sized mugs that hold a lot of coffee! 😎 We like it that North Idaho is a place where people can trust each other; a place where honesty and trust can exist like this, so please, please *Honer the Potter* and pay the full price. Let's keep North Idaho the way it is for as long as we can!

I found this place quite by accident last summer when exploring around CDA. I purchased gifts for many friends back home in New Mexico. I've been sent with a list on my visit this summer as everyone remarked about how gorgeous this pottery is! Very affordable.
