When I first walked in I was told they could not view the items I had brought in to sell. When I stated I had called and was told to come in, the C S clerk finally agreed to view. They took about 20/25 minutes and they bought a few items totaling 40 some dollars. I accepted the offer but I felt cheated. When i brought in the unwanted items they had rummaged thru everything and had just thrown in the unwanted items. I will not be doing any business with them in the future. Their inventory is for the younger crowd and prices were affordable.

Horrible customer service they pay nothing for clothes little young kids running the store are rude and disrespectful. Do not go here ever.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I will never go to Plato’s closet ever again. I have been there several times with big designer name clothes and they always have an excuse not to take them. I give them exactly what their board says they want every time and they never take it. Yet when I went to look and try on their clothes they have stretched out and ripped vs clothes they sell for an astronomical amount a piece. It’s sickening to me that they treat people so rudely. I gave the woman my small box and she threw it in the ground and told me to wait, I did and when I came back when she told me to she looked annoyed and pretended she didn’t remember me. I took my box of clothes and couldn’t understand why a holister, forever 21, and other brand new, tag still on name brand stuff I never got to wear were never taken. I asked what they really wanted and she told me exactly what I had. I told her the things she said were in my box and she rolled her eyes. Horrible customer service. I’ve never been so disrespected in my life. I will never step foot in a Plato’s closet again. I refuse to be treated like trash. This is the first time I’ve ever written a negative review but it was rightfully deserved. I’m sorry Plato’s closet but my visits have been deeply disappointing and saddening. How terrible it is that customers aren’t valued in your store.

I don't even want to give them ONE star. I will never shop there again. They denied use of fitting rooms. Said we could return what we bought if it didn't fit. Then denied our return with receipt. ***DISGUSTED***

Decently priced. Went into the changing rooms today, the one in the middle specifically. Saw the camera in the reflection of the mirror (camera is placed above the cashiers wall opposite side of the changing rooms). I hope the cameras do not see nor record people changing... very uncomfortable to think about. I walked over to the cashiers side to double check if the cameras would be able to see downwards into the changing rooms.... I'm pretty sure it can since it's so high up. The cameras would definitely be able to see people's reflections as they are changing. Keep in mind the next time you are here

So I bought few things from here it's alot of clothes first time here, but I seen some with stains on them? Like how are these people picky about the style's or year's even when the clothes is in perfect conditions but still sell stained clothes? Don't get it at all & bought this vsp pants with this security tag on the bottom of the pants & it didn't even go off after I walked out now I'm in Waukegan & Rockford is almost 2 hour's this is messed up🤦🏼♀️this lady totally forgot to take it off smh

We always find great items at very good prices. The sales staff is competent. However, they spend alot of time talking and aren't always aware of customers. UPDATE: We went back again recently. I always feel like am "intruding" when I ask for help. If anything, things were worse on this visit than on my last. I always feel like I am asking too much when I ask for a dressing room.

I've bought a few things from here which were priced decent but if i would of known what they bought them for I would never of purchased from them. I just went in to sell a used $200 Michael Kors tote. 2 pairs of Miss Me jeans and a pair of Rock Revivals. All costing me $600 when I bought new. Obviously I wasn't planning on getting anything near that but they offered me $40.10 for the purse and 2 pairs of jeans. No way will u get my business after that.

Great deals on clothes, shoes can be a little expensive. Great staff, always greeted with a “welcome in !!” At the door. Just got remodeled looked really clean.

I love this place so much. Found a pair of Miss Me jeans for $25, and found some Victoria's secret workout pants for awesome prices. Also found a cute purse. Great prices, fun store, very nice staff. One of my favs!!! Excited to go back
