Delicious food and great service! My husband and I often get the Chicken Satay and the beef curry to split because those are our favorite dishes and we can never decide between the two. My kids love going on Saturdays for the sushi. This is our family's favorite place to eat (especially since 3 of us are gluten free and they are so good about keeping us from being contaminated!)

Can't say enough about this restaurant! We traveled over an hour to eat here, and from the moment we walked in, we were treated like family! It's the only Indonesian restaurant in miles (states), so go for that reason alone. I've always thought of Indonesian food at the TOP of the Asian food chain - it just seems healthier, fresher and lighter -as well as tastier than Chinese, Thai, etc - and this place didn't disappoint! The food (which is mostly local sourced) came out quick, hot and delicious! We had a group of 4, and ordered almost everything, lol - then shared it, and we couldn't all decide on 1 standout, because it was all amazing! Do yourself a favor and go and enjoy now!

What a lovely small business! Both owners were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Enjoyed everything we had—you can order food completely mild or as spicy as you’d like. I especially enjoyed the chicken satay in peanut sauce. Definitely recommend!

I’ve traveled to Indonesia and this was just as if not more delicious and authentic than anything I had there…Delicious beef curry and homemade tofu the owner is lovely has an interesting story and clearly cares about supporting local farmers by using local ingredients as well as healthy eating and more sustainable food culture. This is a fantastic restaurant. And the fact that it’s rare to find Indonesian food in this part of the country or any part of the country makes it even better—highly recommended

Mayasari is an unexpected delight. Who would think that in the middle of rural Indiana you would find genuine Indonesian food, cooked with love and expertise, in an atmosphere that makes you feel like you have been transported somehow to Indonesia. Humus and and wife team Maya Effendi and Rick Mays own and operate this little jewel in downtown Greensburg. A wonderful addition to the experience was having Rick explain the food and describe how Maya cooks it. For example, she believes that each ingredient goes in one at a time and has its time to shine before the next is added…From the cucumber BLT appetizer to the Chicken Satay (Sate Ayam) to the Beef Curry (Rendang Daging), the food was as delicious as it is authentic.

I get the same thing pretty much every time I go, but it’s so good that I don’t care! Beef curry #1 - it’s that good! The burger is great too. The kids love the kabobs, my wife likes the tenderloin, and we always get plenty of spring rolls. And mango tea. Yup - just good stuff. 5 stars

Super authentic genuine everything, with my group we probably tried half the menu and passed it all around to taste everything and there wasn’t a single dish I wouldn’t get again. Very impressed, customer service was amazing as well, I believe it was the owner we spoke with and were trading jokes as he checked up on us and explained any and every detail of anything we asked for more details on off of his menu. FYI it’s a pretty calm/quiet restaurant👌🏽 Definitely recommended(:

We dined here last Saturday. The food and the atmosphere was great. They served authentic Indonesian food. Their Chicken Satay and Beef Rendang were extremely delicious. Definitely a hidden gem and a great place to dine!

I stopped here on my way back from a trip to Cincinatti. The service was excellent; the food came quickly and the server was personable and offered details/facts regarding how food was prepared. The tempeh salad definitely exceeded my expectations as a vegan. Attention to detail provided was everywhere. It's also very fairly priced. It's a hidden 💎 that I wasn't expecting in such a small town :)
