Bought a Hellbreaker receiver here. Bo painted it and assembled it for me. Came out amazing. Will be back to buy more stuff lol. Already purchased an Anderson lower for my AR pistol earlier here. If you want something done right bring it here.

Very positive experience. Everything needed got done that I needed done. Unfortunately I locked my keys in my car as I was leaving. One of there employees was able to get a Polk county sheriff deputy there to help me out and another customer helped me out as well. Would definitely recommend.

I called mid morning about bringing in triggers that were purchased on my own for two ARs. They were more than happy to help. Brought them in, switched them out in no time. They are always pleasant, happy employees and willing to help you with anything. I enjoy going to them!

Great experience with Generational Guns and would highly recommend them. Great service and very knowledgeable employees have made everything a great experience. I ordered in a gun that arrived with a cracked stock and they were able to get that resolved very quickly with the manufacturer. Will definitely be going there for any gun related needs in the future.

Immediately after my first time shooting the firearm I had purchased from Generational Guns I went back to there with some gun issues. #1- the red fiber optic fell off at first shot. They replaced this item. #2- one of the clips that I purchased from them would not seat or discharge properly. The young filed the inside so the clip would slide properly. The young man said that he could file it down for me or get a new mag well. #3- I showed them it was shooting off to the side. He offered to bore sight the hand gun. #4- at no time did the young man or anyone behind the counter mention a fee for bore sighting or for the filing. #5- When I first purchased this handgun, the owner filed the top of the clip that came with the handgun at no charge. #6- This is not the first I have been to this store. Each and every employee has been very helpful, informative and friendly, including the owner. I only wished this time they would have told me upfront there would be charges , even on a firearm after one use.

This place is the best gun store in the Des Moines metro! I have been going there for a while now and I just had the men at Generational Guns cerakote a few guns for me. They did a excellent job and on top of that it was fairly priced. Dalton, Bo, Chris, Grady and everyone else at Generational Guns is a class act who is very knowledgeable about products, repairs, and much more. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I’m very thankful to have a shop like this that is local!
