Very scary. They have customers that are scammers. One of their customers Faked an invoice to us (using an email that was from our company but had an extra letter in the email address) for $95,000 to ACH into their account at Small Business Bank. Would not trust this institution!!!

Do not bank with this Bank. They have 0 customer service, a terrible app and banking interface and 0 integrity. The bank routes calls in through a third party call center. The people at this call center are clueless and very rude,I got hung up on twice when they could not answer basic account questions. I wonder how this bank still has a license with the trashy service they render.

Previously was Gardner State Bank and service, everything, was excellent. Since moving to Smallbusiness bank, fees increased and service decreased. I have phoned hitting every option available on their recording. All options lead to a message advising to leave a message AND THEN TELLING ME THE MESSAGE QUE IS FULL. My advice, do not use the bank!

If you are seeking the most inept customer service possible, this is the bank for you. Their lack of service, communication and competency will only make it more difficult to run your business. Avoid Small Business Bank of Kansas!

If you want a real bank you are going to have to go somewhere else. You can't even reach a representative from the bank because they are working through a call center to handle your calls. From a verfied bank letter that takes up to 10 days to a non-concerning bank staff incapable of handling a PPP loan, this bank touts more convenience is better when they are actually a call center trying to manage the banks customer care operations. To top off the frustration they have stripped their great simplistic website of all consumer benefits they once had before.

If you want a real bank you are going to have to go somewhere else. You can't even reach a representative from the bank because they are working through call center to handle your calls. Want a verfied bank letter or a voided check?? - Try waiting for mail for up to 10 days! Or 24 hours via facsimile. Thats outrageous. Go to your local bank. Somewhere you can walk in and see and deal with someone. They even changed there website taking away great features they had built in it like your verified bank letter. I hate when companies tout better when they are actually scaling back the consumer benefits!!

Almost ever interaction I have, they tell me something different and then are short with me or flat out rude. I got called today after calling Friday to have my account closed since the business is no longer in operation and I was told I would be contacted in a few days when complete. I just got called today on a Sunday asking if I needed help. I said I didn't think so because I called on Friday to close my account and they said it should be fine soon. I was told I needed to send a secure message to close the account instead. I questioned why they would tell me something different in Friday and the conversation went downhill from there. She ended up saying well we can just see what they do. What does that mean? Am I getting called back? Am I not? Are they going to close my account? Are they going to inform me if they cant close my account? I strongly do not recommend SBB based on customer service alone. There are banks that offer similar services and are much more friendly.

This company may have the worst customer service accross the banking industry landscape. It was impossible to get effective and efficient help in opening an account. To the point that after attempting to open the account with very minimal assistance I decided to Not do any business with this company. I would never recommend SBB Bank to anyone. Let alone any small business owners.

Have been a customer since 2014. They have had constant turnover and customer service that only works M-F 9-5 central so if you need something at another time forget it. "Upgraded" the online banking and app and now I can't even see a transaction prior to March 2021. They will 'fax or mail' past statements. Online portal now has no search, no bill pay, no detail on transactions and no customer service. Don't bother banking here.

The first I was skeptical. I got a few small issues. Never had a problem contacting the bank. I do suggest you read a few things more closely than I did. They have worked well with me, Even when I was quite upset with a few things. I do believe they need a type of an accounts manager. Someone who can reach out to you help you, walk you through the process, and possibly drive new customers for them. ,Banking should be more about the customer than just obtaining accounts. I'm pretty busy. I did have to reach out to them to get my debit card send out. It came promptly in 7 of the 7 to 10 days. So far so good.
