We ate breakfast at Jack's in Vernon, AL. The restaurant has been newly remodeled and looks good on the outside (except for the parking lot) but the inside was filthy. There were flies inside the ice cream freezer. We had a hard time finding a table that was decent enough for us to sit at. The bathroom was dirty and the urinal was stopped up. The lady that took our order was not at all friendly and acted as if she hated her job. Very disappointed and will not be back until we hear that changes have been made. ~Scott

I took my 20 year old chihuahua about 2 weeks ago for breathing problems. Dr cash was out of town so we seen a woman who said she was from Huntsville. I did not like that they would not allow me in with my pet. That was not discussed when I called and had I known before hand I would have used another vet. I drove an hour there. They took my girl in and brought her back out in less than 5 mins with a almost $100 bill. I don't feel you can properly evaluate a dog in less than 5 mins. Then was told she would have to have surgery to have all her teeth pulled for a breathing issue. I looked into the procedure it's expensive as most vets charge by the tooth. Still not certain teeth caused her issue. ~Kristin

Was here before I left Alabama . Good prices and great people. Yep, 5 stars. To me, the people are what really makes a place. I would rather pay a few cents of dollars more and get great or good service that to pay good prices and deal with people who just don't care. But, that's just me!! ~Readi

Pic on right is how it was served, pic on left is so you can see the portion size. Arrived on a Monday at 430, not busy. It was slow to place my order. Fries were seasoned, bbq sauce was so good I put that on my fries as well. I had a surplus of brisket after making my sandwich. I left full. I will be back. ~R

The guys here are the greatest...they are very hardworking, and the friendly welcoming environment is the best...they will try and meet your needs, and take care of you with great professionalism...if you want quality service at a reasonable price go to Westside service station for your servicing needs...I've done business with these guys for years now,and they never seem to disappoint...they have help me out many of times whether it was a vehicle for work or my own personal vehicle they got me up and going... ~Lisa
