This location, once GREAT, has been crushed by pandemic and never recovered. Now: if you call, hold time is 15 minutes B4 your call is answered, and if you go to drive-thru, you will wait in your car 20 to 30 minutes before it is your turn at the window. I, like others, have complained to store manager, to lead pharmacist, and to Walgreens corporate, all without success. If u are not sick when you go to this pharmacy, you will get sick because it is so frustrating to do business with them. When I tried to order some NON Rx items to be delivered to my house, they arrived broken and open, so that the liquid soap and shampoo and dishwasher liquid was coating the inside of the delivery carton. It was like they had NEVER filled an e-commerce order before. It was disgusting to wipe everything off and wash the bottles that were not broken of the goo that covered them. When I complain to the store, I give them my home number and ask them to call me if they want feedback. Only once have I ever been called back, and that was to say my problem had not been resolved. Read the other reviews, especially about the two 90 yr olds trying to buy a bottle of alcohol in the store, and how they were treated. This says it all, perhaps better than I have here. ~Jay

It really hurts me to complain.it just so happens to be my favorite location. However it’s been numerous times I have received expired food from the deli department. Today I was absolutely disappointed by the sour cheese put in my lasagna rolls, that the deli prepared. More sadden by the customer service. When they try to say the approximately 3mile ride home had made the cheese go bad. WOW. That’s weird Fry’s is a longer drive and I never have this problem. This is the only Safeway I have ever had and still have problems with : bad food, double charging me , and not getting the discounts as advertised. It seems to have fallen out of respect and integrity for the customers. I sure hope the FDA and health inspectors for maricopa happen to react swiftly. My sincere apologies for having to complain about this. I just had to for the best intentions of Safeway. Your sadden loyal customer ~US

I was on vacation from WA state and needed a prescription filled ASAP. I contacted my Dr. to send my prescription to a pharmacy in Sun City West. My physician has full knowledge of my healthcare plan and approved providers. She sent the prescription to Banner Pharmacy. Fast fill of the prescription. When I went to pick it up, the clerk told me my insurance wasn’t accepted but they gave me what discount they could or I could try a different pharmacy. The script was $88. I’m already frustrated because it took me 15 minutes to figure out how to enter the building to get to the pharmacy. Since I’m on vacation, I decide to pay the amount and leave. I go outside to call my pharmacy representative and find out I am covered by their network but the number of my plan was not put in correctly. Long story short, after contacting my pharmacy rep twice and having a rep call the pharmacy once on my behalf, the pharmacy still refused to cover my prescription even though my own insurance was telling them I was covered. Later, after talking to my dad, he told me he had similar problems when he first moved here, and they finally figured out to put it under Arizona Blue Cross even though the original Blue Cross insurance originated in WA state. Needless to say, I left the pharmacy the 2nd time completely emotionally drained and depleted. I didn’t feel like it was my job to tell them how to do theirs. I just don’t understand why a pharmacy employee, who is literally on the phone with the insurance provider telling them that they are part of my plan’s network, that she wouldn’t take a moment to try to problem solve the issue. I would be thinking, “There must be a way to process this if the insurance provider is telling me that this patient is covered…” I literally had no words when she repeated the same response of, “Our system is telling us that your out of state insurance is not part of our network.” Are we now letting the computers do the thinking for us? ~Cindy

I recently bought a truck from Allen's and I must say the experience was remarkable. They really are very honest and Allen himself made sure the deal with perfect. Sal the front office manager along with the entire mechanic crew are very knowledgeable and very professional.
