We've never been to Castaways before, but we thought we'd give it a try. We started with The Castaway Platter which was several different appetizers and dipping sauce, We also tried the Artichoke Dip. They were all very good.i had the Cuban with homemade chips, one of the others had GFS with waffle fries, the others had the Patty Melt, Cheesy Italian Beef with tatertots, and 1 other sandwich. They were all good and we left stuffed! The waitress was a hoot and stayed on top of things. It was worth the 30 minute drive. ~Aaron

I went and bought a car today. A 1999 Ford Taurus, mechanic said this was the best and most reliable car I would find, made it a mile down the road and smoking from under the hood and a burning smell started, made it back to Peoria to my mechanic and he said this is the worst pieced together car he had ever seen, brake lines were mended together, sway bar is about to break completely, needs new wheel bearing and rotors, and the smoke and burning was coming from the fuse box, said that is basically going to catch fire soon. So yeah know I am out 1300.00 for a car I’m just waiting to blow up anytime! ~Christina
