Walgreens

People keep blaming this particular Walgreen’s for slow service, but the employees aren’t necessarily to blame. The population in this area has sky-rocketed, and it’s still growing. The constant flow of traffic through town is like a parade. The existing businesses simply can’t support the massive number of shoppers. It’s not the ‘small rural town’ that it used to be. Also, the drive-thru has a second lane but more often than not people won’t use it for some strange reason. ~Kim

Family Express

Ordered an XL sausage pizza, 12 boneless wings with spicy boom boom sauce, and six bread sticks with marinara dipping sauce for $17.99 from the Lowell Family Express. The pizza and breadsticks were good, and the wings were great. I would order this deal again, especially for the price. It’s the best price on pizza in town, and probably all of NWI. You couldn’t make it yourself for that price. ~Kim

Dollar General

DOLLAR GENERAL of Lowell, Indiana is a nice space for the local area. It has much needed items such as soaps, household cleaners, diapers, toys, storage containers, pet supplies & grocery items. The variety of items offered is limited but nonetheless is available at a good price point. I was able up find a good selection of adult and children’s face masks. The cashier was friendly and helpful. The store did feel abit small for the amount of goods being sold... aisles being very long and narrow. Other than that the store seemed clean and to be run very efficiently. I would recommend DOLLAR GENERAL as a good place to shop and save money. ~Alaine
