Love the baskets that turn into carts....just wish I could use them to haul my purchases the 3 blocks to my apt after shopping. I agree that the prices are pretty high, for clothes at least. On the other hand they will let you shop for free clothes ($25 including tax) once a year w/local ID. Also agree it would be great to be able to exchange purchases for store credit within a week w/receipt & attached tags so it wouldn't be necessary to try everything on in the very limited dressing rooms, only 3 garments at a time, while shopping. Ending on a positive note, I love the new hours, open everyday and til 7:30pm 6 days/wk. That's almost late enough even for a wait til the last minute type like myself. I'm excited to try to make it there one night soon and shop for free! ~Ami

Sunday September 5th I went into Sally's to buy some trimmers and the employee was rude. When I buy clippers and trimmer I want to see the product. I also like to hold the product to see how heavy the product is since I use the product daily. If I'm going to spend that much money I want to make sure the quality is good. Stop assuming the worst in people your job is to sale so do your job. The employee didn't like my appearance and assumed I couldn't pay for the trimmers and made comments behind my back. I made the mistake of giving this store another chance but I will not make that mistake again. The employee refused to exchange an item after I was told I could by a previous employee. Then the employee made a comment about my car and I could afford to buy another one. ~Sheri

Drove in from out of town to pick up a prescription for my granddaughter. Was in line to pick up the medication at 1:35, behind an older gentleman in a wheelchair. Pharmacist came out, said she was going to lunch, and told everyone they would have to come back later. My prescription had already been filled, but they would not give it to me since the pharmacist was leaving. She was very rude to those waiting in line. Unbelievably poor customer service. Really felt sorry for the older gentleman in front of me as he had waited all this time and had to come back later. ~Mark

This location is not your average Walmart. I know this from experience, having lived in large urban cities for the majority of my life (45 years in Dallas and Los Angeles). The only place in urban areas that I have been to where you will see a Walmart that looks like this, is on their website. The big city locations are almost uniformly dirty, poorly staffed with employees that do not have a good work ethic or care anything about Customer Service, from the manager on down. In the Walmarts that I have had available to me, you would find clothing strewn about the floor because uncaring customers would take an item off the rack to look at it and then just drop it on the floor instead of putting it back on the rack. The clothing would remain on the floor, because the employees did not care enough about their store, to pick up after their awful customers (not meaning that all Walmart customers are awful, only meaning the ones who act like this are awful). It would be the same situation in the shoe department. Shoes would be strewn all over the aisles, and if customers bothered putting them on the shelves, they just stuck them anywhere. Again, the shoes remained on the floor and mismatched on the shelves, because the employees did nothing to straighten up or keep them in order after awful customers acted like this. It seems to be pretty universally common for people to complain about Walmart, even here locally. Without addressing any of Walmart‘s policies or salaries or any affect that they have had on smaller and mid-sized cities that they have moved into, customers that have this particular store available to them do not know how lucky they are to have such a clean and well-staffed store, if they choose to shop there. My question to Walmart would be, if one of your stores can look this good, and be run as well as this location (where there is not a large population to draw from), why can’t you find qualified managers/employees in large urban areas, that will run their store and care for it like they do here? In this time of increasing inflation, Walmart is here with usually the best pricing, making it easier for people on limited budgets. People of middle or high income also have it available, if they choose to. I completely believe in supporting local merchants as well, if you are in a financial position to do so, and I think it is important to the continuity and lifeblood of small to mid-sized towns. Respectfully, Steve #walmart (tagging this post in the hopes that management/employees at this store take notice of my appreciation for what a great job they do, and for Walmart headquarters to recognize what a great location this is, but to also be aware of just how much improvement is needed in their urban locations) NOTE: All pictures included in this review are actual photos that were taken by me personally, at this location that I have reviewed. ~Steve
