Peekytoe Provisions

If you are visiting Bar Harbor and looking for a great lobster roll, this is the place to visit and get some. The rolls were amazing and very meaty. Makes my mouth water thinking about it again. The soups were tasty as well. They also serve oysters too! Be aware not a lot of seats inside but they do have a decent amount of outdoor area. Kid friendly restaurant and pet friendly for outdoor space. You can also grab fresh fish to go if you want and some grocery items that go with the first. A must check out restaurant if you want to have lobster rolls. ~Jonathan

Hannaford Supermarket

The largest and best stocked grocery store in the area. Super fresh and local products can be bought here. Live lobster is fairly priced and they'll steam one for you too! We saw the largest bok choy on display for sale here, looked 2 feet long! Be wary of some local products that are produced elsewhere but distributed by a local company ~Jeff

Wind and Wine by the Sea

Great shop for wines, local made jewelry, local made candles, local made mustard, and some cheeses! I purchased a mushroom brie that went really well with my sweet potato & mushroom frittata and a muscat ottonel I brought from home. I've yet to open the wine I purchased here, but I believe they'll be great. This shop I noticed keeps a few vietti wines available, which are fabulous Piedmont wines that I love. I purchased a rosé and Maine blueberry wine. ~CaSondra
