Not your typical gas station convenience store. Sure they have the normal chips and cold beverages but the also have grass fed beef and a nice assortment of gifts and memorabilia. Gas prices are reasonable for a tourist area. If you really like the store it's available for purchase. They have a for sale sign on the door. ~Hoodie

Great tasting ice cream from a classic roadside stand. Plenty of outdoor seating although the parking lot is oddly shaped, it only adds to the charm. A steady stream of locals were in line before and after my visit. The rainbow sprinkles were a bit too crunchy for my tastes. ~Roadblock

In my experience, most coffee shops have great baked goods and just-okay coffee, or vice versa. Was thrilled to find a place in Sackets that had top-notch versions of both! Friendly, smiley staff, good prices, and I loved the little "secret garden" next to the shop (pictured). Was fun to hang at a place the locals clearly love, and I can see why. Also if it's still on the menu when you go, try the Shanny! ~Gaby
