I had the same experience with Bernie a few years ago, rented a unit November until March 31st, payment was taken out and paid in full. That June an unauthorized amount $100.00 was taken out of my credit card account. Contacted Bernie and he stated that it was a mistake and would fix it. He did nothing. Tried to call and text and no response! That October there were 2 more unauthorized withdrawals each for $100.00 dollars and of course he returned no phone calls. He had no problems with contacting when setting things up prior to the rental however. I contacted the credit card company to recover part of my money. I had to eat the $100.00 from June because I hadn’t caught it early enough and Bernie was suppose to fix it. I reiterate! I only rented from November to March 31st!
He sure is a nice guy when you are looking to rent, kinda reminds me of a shady used car salesmen in the long run.
Bernie. I realize mistakes happen and no one is perfect, however a mistake is one thing, but when you acknowledge a mistake and tell someone you will fix it and you don't, that is no mistake. And then it happened again, twice in one month. And apparently this didn't only happen to me.
Also, I had already tried to find you at the Boatworks when this happened, either you were not there or to busy? So I have no interested in Chasing around to get the money back. I will just consider it a learning curve to not do business with you.
This is just so others can keep an eye on their accounts.
