I've had two very positive experiences with Mark. The first job I hired him for was swapping the motor in my 2004 Dodge Durango, and the second was swapping the transmission. In both cases, I contacted him in advance, and he worked me into his schedule as soon as possible (usually within less than a week). He kept in contact with me and told me if he encountered any problems. I chose Mark Lehl because I've heard he's very knowledgeable and has a high standard of workmanship. This was certainly the case in my experience because he didn't cut any corners and made sure the job was done right. He pulled the necessary components off my old motor, fitted them into the new one, replaced any parts that were worn, and installed the new motor without a hitch. The vehicle runs like new. The same is true for the transmission. I ordered both the motor and the transmission from Fraser Engine and Transmission out of Michigan because they were affordable, highly recommended, fast, and came with a stellar warranty. They shipped the motor and transmission directly to Mark and paid for me to return the old ones. Now, I'll admit, Mark isn't the cheapest or fastest mechanic in town, but he's honest and straightforward. I knew that when the job was done, it was done right, and when I received the bill, I was confident that I was getting exactly what I paid for - no bogus charges, inflated labor, or unnecessary parts. I'll definitely do business with Mark again if I'm still in the area and encounter a job that's too big for my own abilities. ~Keaton
