We stopped in here on a rainy Saturday, barely afternoon, to the nicest people and the home of Alpine Boy Sausage. Of course we picked up some beef sticks, landjaegers and Shullsburg Co cheese. But the , we hit the deli. Not a regular grocery deli, but a hidden gem of yumminess! Homemade tater tot casserole, chicken pasta casserole, “juicy” (what my husband calls things that are well-buttered) garlic cheese bread - OH-MY! All of it hit the perfect comfort food spot!! “Where the talented school cafeteria ladies work on summer break” is an excellent description. They also had homemade pizza and griddled burgers, which we will have to try next time! Definitely worth a trip out of the way, or if you’re tubing down the Sugar River! ~Andrea
