The cashier apologized for the wait caused by the customer in front of me (started his purchase then went back for other things, waited for his daughter to find her stuff, then after she emerged with her items and got rung up had to go to his car for the card to pay). But remained perfectly cordial to the first customer, a rare combo if ever there was one.
