Came into bunky for my family reunion stopped in to Sammy's to get a bite to eat and had the best Mac's Burger Ever!!! Great customer service!

The server was nice very efficient. The food was good, diner type foods. We had the ham and cheese sandwich. It was very good. The men's bathroom was very bad. The urinals have a 1/4 inch build up of urine smelling bacteria. It was disgusting. A bottle of bleach (and they sell bleach) could fix it in about 2 minutes a day for a week. Just spray the urinal with a bleach solution and let it soak. 3/4 times a day. In a week they will be clean. No excuse for this!

Not very good inventory. I didnt eat at the dinner so I cant speak on that but the regular gas station truck stop items werent very impressive or accommodating if you are on a strict medical diet. Highly suggest continuing south to villeplate...but...be prepared to pay a huge markup there...at least Sammy's was reasonable

Great little truck stop. Keep their restrooms sparkly clean, the restaurant has good food and there is usually a place to park no matter when you arrive.

By far the worst casino I have ever been to. I start by saying it is filthy. Workers never move from behind the cash window, so probably answers why the machines and around the machines are disgusting. They sit behind window playing on their phones and you must leave your machine if you would like a drink, change, or cash out your ticket with hopes that no one will sit at your machine if you plan to go back to the same one. However that's probably not much of a problem unless you would like a drink because their machines don't do anything but take your money. I've given this place multiple tries despite the cleaniness and it has been the same thing each time. I walk out each time with way too much money spent (stupidity on my part) and never a ticket to cash. There will never be another time that I walk through those doors after losing $180 in less than 30 minutes and not 1 bonus given and trying 3 different machines.

I had breakfast here early in the morning. The service was good. The food was great. It was inexpensive. Great place to stop. Casino next door. Southern Louisiana hospitality.

This driveway and parking area is paved worse than the Louisiana roads. Definitely not going more than 5 mph in this parking lot. Lots of potholes mud and everything else. Just take it slow and be really careful. also make sure you swing wide entering and exiting or else your trailer will end up in the ditch.

Absolutely one of the best truck stops we've been to. The customer service is A++. The lady at the counter went above and beyond to get us a shower (without wait) and was extremely pleasant. The restaurant was outstanding! The lady running it tonight was doing everything; cooking, serving, cashiering, etc..and didn't miss a beat. The chicken fried steaks and everything that came with it.. All I can say is .. by far the BEST food on the road! She deserves a raise!!! .. Very Happy with our night! We will be back whenever our loads take us through here.
