i wish i could rate lower tbh, i tried to hold like snakes and cats but there’s a policy where you have to be interested in buying the pet, personally i think if you can’t hold it, i wouldn’t be interested at all. i walked in today to hold a ball pyton but i was told i couldn’t even hold it if i was interested. also the people cleaning the cats hardly help either, they won’t let you hold them either. please fix this policy, i miss holding cats and snakes.

PetSmart is a Store having vast numbers of selections for a variety of your pets. The Cashier who I encountered was superb ... very nice as well as helpful ... and wore a beautiful smile. This Location has a massive parking lot.

This is my first time in this store branch but I will be coming here for any and all of my doggie needs moving forward. Abbie was incredibly helpful from the moment I walked in. I immediately asked her help as she was in the middle of heading somewhere else and redirected herself towards me and my needs. She walked me around almost the entire store and answered all of my questions with delightful and complete answers. I highly recommend her as associate of the month! The manager Randy was also very kind and inviting. This is the best PetSmart I’ve been to in the state of Louisiana!

Lacking a wide animal variety (mostly just cats and birds at any point) overpriced pet accessories but still the convenience of a good selection of different pet items from tanks to harnesses to collars to scratch posts and almost anything you would need.

Went in to look at adoptable pets; had no idea that Petsmart worked with local charities and rescues. I ended up adopting and taking home a new cat same-day through the Spaymart Charities program. The staff was all very compassionate and helpful!

I love how this particular Pet Smart keeps the prescription food up front by the registers. It makes it so much easier to find when you've got a furbaby on a strict dietary food. I wish all the other Petsmart stores would follow suit. It's stressful trying to locate the one thing you need to purchase when it's hidden all the way in the back of the store. It's just a smart move to put that kind of thing up front. I appreciate them for doing so.

Absolutely appalling. I had a groomer named Amber. I honestly felt like she was low-key jealous that a certain type of person could have a certain type of dog so she purposely destroyed his coat. His coat was not badly matted to the point that she had to shave him. His coat has been permanently destroyed, because he’s been shaven all the way down. And it most likely won’t go back to the length that it was. This took hours of grooming and expensive products.All Down the drain because she was too lazy to de-mat him and shaved him. Honestly with the amount of time and energy I put into maintenance to see it destroyed was a slap in the face and this businesses should be closed down permanently. She basically turned my Shih poo into a Chihuahua😭 Then they had the nerve to charge me 80$ for this madness.

I wanted to write a review to express my gratitude for the store manager, Randy. I had a grooming service that I was really not pleased with and expressed that in the post-grooming online survey. Randy called me personally the next day to apologize for this and even offered me compensation. He couldn't have been nicer and it really meant a lot to me. I appreciate him going above and beyond and for his excellent customer service. Aside from my grooming mishap, this Pet Smart seems like a wonderful place to shop. Thanks Randy!

Have been thinking about bringing a 2nd cat into the home. My current cat (9 years) had never been alone and lost his companion (she was 16) a few months back ... Began an online search, many local shelters had limited access during Covid-19 restrictions. Visited PetSmart (the SpayMart adoption team) ... was selected by a kitten, and now I'm a 2-cat household again. The PetSmart and SpayMart guys are knowledgeable and patient and polite. I'll be going back for supplies and shots in a few weeks. His name is Niklaus Nimrod Nermal Update. brought Nicholas back for his final round of shots and ended up bringing home a 4-year-old cat who had been turned in by his owner who was moving. So now I have three cats Whitney my 9-year-old Niklaus is now six months and Artemis who is 4 years. And I've been able to volunteer one afternoon a week at the kitten Foster within this PetSmart.
