Employees need to be retrained. They don’t know their poster 7 rules regarding public photography and overall nasty to the general public. The local police that came to the post office could’ve diffused the whole situation left without letting the postal employees and customers what the videographer was doing was completely legal. Post masters need to do a better job training on rules and regulations of the post office and on serving the public with a smile and to be courteous.

I have never had a negative experience here. I mail items almost weekly, renewed my passport ( they did the pic!) And everyone is always pleasant and professional. Anyone who leaves a bad review for a public service is just having a bad day. 🤓

The people here are very nice but whoever is in charge need to take some responsibility for the lack of training given to their employees. Being understaffed is understandable but I've talked to multiple mail carriers and their bosses work less than 40 hour weeks and expect the carriers to do 60+ hours. In no way giving the employees a bad review. The management there really needs to clean house and give positions to people at least willing to try and help not just let days or weeks go without mail. I remember at one time mail carriers were proud of their job and would do whatever needed to be done to complete the job but now it's just how little can I do and how much can you push off onto the people under you. Some one fix this mess. The only good reviews are from the people that are the problem.

The post office does not answer their phone. Mail hasn’t been delivered or taken from the mailbox in over a week. Postal workers are rude. Super fed up with the Sanford post office.

Absolutely rude and unprofessional. It is unbelievable the behavior they displayed to law abiding citizens. Maybe they all need to be retrained and understand they are PUBLIC SERVANTS. Pathetic.

So tired of my packages being “rescheduled by carrier” after being out for delivery all morning. Also tired of them shifting blame by saying “driveway was inaccessible” like it’s my fault when my driveway is clearly open and unblocked. This has happened over and over.

The person who is in charge of delivering packages is terrible. We have come outside to find out packages on the side of the road (we live on a very busy major route, mind you), we have seen packages crammed so tightly into the mailbox that you have to struggle to pull them out, and most recently they are now just leaving packages on top of our mailbox. This is just laziness and carelessness. Anyone could have had access to these packages and that is not ok. By cramming the packages so forcefully into the mailbox we have gotten personal mail that is folded and torn. If it doesn’t fit in the box, why are you leaving it here? My house is right there within eyesight, but instead of doing their job accurately they would rather be lazy and risk someone’s property being stolen. Not impressed.

just nowNEW The unprofessionalism involved with this post office is amazing. Bothering law abiding citizens and demanding ID and being disrespectful is completely uncalled for. This office should be investigated from the bottom up and should only be stopped when the next supervisor starts disciplining their employees for conducting business this way.. Taking video and photographs on federal property even inside the building It's completely legal. they didn't even attempt to call the postmaster and They did not correct the employees on what the law is.
