While I have had very excellent experiences with Enterprise as a company, this location not so much. There seems to only be one employee assigned to this office and it's nearly impossible to find him/her there. I have stopped in at different times weeks apart and there's never anyone in this office. Each time I went, the only thing in this office was a small annoying sign offering a phone # to call a different location in a different town.

Been waiting over an hour, nobody here, and the dealership doesn’t know anything. Supposedly there is someone working here, was supposed to exchange my car due to a flat. Not happy.

Understandably some Enterprise facilities have reduced hours (e.g., no Saturday pick up) due to the impact of covid-19. However, my experience was all positive. A clean car was waiting for me when I arrived at the Enterprise office in Wiscasset Maine. Only a few minutes was needed to process the rental and inspection of the car. There were no problems with the car on my 500 mile (one way) trip. Retuning the car also only took 5 minutes.

The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Customer service by both Wiscasset Ford and Enterprise was superb. Would highly recommend their business. Justin with Enterprise helped us out with our rental. Despite this being my first rental he walked me through our vehicle and the renting process with professionalism and proficiency. I left feeling well-informed with absolutely no doubts. Thank you!

I visited the Wiscasset and Rockland Enterprise locations many times over the course of a few months in Summer of 2018 and felt the service was excellent, especially from Halie. She helped me find the best rate (even when others in her office gave me misinformation about my airport rate from Logan on a one-way having a surcharge that wouldn't be on a local rate). She helped re-clean a car when another staff member rented a car that smelled like cigarettes. Halie's customer service was above and beyond what I've come to expect from a car rental branch. Thank you.

I have been sitting here for almost 2hrs with no one in the enterprise office cause i need to rent a car. This is not good customer service. There should be 2 employees here but there isn't even 1 here in the office!!!😠

rental spots outside of the airports in Maine are few and far between. I rented from Enterprise in a little town outside of Augusta, Maine. Customer service - I called to complain and advise that 1 day into my week rental the engine malfunction light came on, then the low tire pressure lights came on, one side, then the next. I was met with pretty poor customer service at my call in. "Sorry, no replacement car available and if the car isn't acting up, it's probably just an electrical issue with the dash"..Seriously? This was a new car, and I didn't want to spend my time in Maine dealing with car issues OR worrying about them. This is Enterprise, a car rental company I trusted to provide me with a reliable car for my travels..I had to ask the customer service rep what I should do should the car act up and how to get a replacement - and it was like pulling teeth. Again, seriously? It's his job to provide the customer with concern and instructions, ESPECIALLY if they were closed for the weekend. VERY disappointed as this is not how I have ever been treated by Enterprise over the years..

While we have had pleasant experiences in the past renting from other Enterprise Establishments, the latest was a nightmare. We had negotiated, through our Costco membership, a week long rental for a standard size car at a set price. The Enterprise representative that checked us in was very professional, accommodating and polite. We were told by this representative that, in additon to our negotiated price, we needed to put an extra $100.00 deposit, refundable upon return of the vehicle. That is where our pleasant experience ended. After only briefly driving the car, we had to returned it the next day due to the horrid smell of smoke. We then had to downsize to an intermediate car at a lesser price . While this vehicle was driveable, it too had the ordor of smoke. We purchased an air freshner and was able to keep the car for the remainder of the week. We have now received a receipt from Enterprise charging us more than our original contract, made though Costco, for a smaller car due to their own inventory non availability. When I called for clarification, I encountered an extremely rude Enterprise Representative who very impatiently kept interruputing me as I was trying to explain to him that this was a Costco negotiated deal, a point quite relevant to our contract. Subsequently, my husband contacted an Enterprise Official. Hopefully this issue will eventually be resolved. Point Being Made: Do not expect to get the vehicle you contracted for and expect it to be clean and driveable, especially if you have alergies.

Once again service was superb. But this was the ONLY time that the enterprise employee actually sat in the rental car and showed me how to used everything! Usually, I have to figure it out myself and forbid..read the car manual. Julie was very friendly & quick to get me checked in and on my way......I needed to be picked up and that went as planned. Enterprise said they'd call me first before arriving and they did. We had a great car for a great price and that's why we always use Enterprise
