I had a great experience just before Christmas 2021 when I took my father's c.1938 Lionel tender in to have the coupling replaced. It's a fascinating place and they were able to do the job very quickly and at a reasonable price. A warning however; I became bitten by the model train bug and ended up buying some vintage train village items and will be going back!! My 92 year old father, who had been a big model train enthusiast, was delighted to see his old train set running again under the Christmas tree. Thank you very much guys.

This place has EVERYTHING you could possibly be looking for in model railroading!! Mr. Bill is an awesome guy and his guys will help you find anything you're looking for. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they have so much inventory that it is spilling out onto the floor. However, I did hear mention of them buying out another facility so I could have visited during the added inventory time frame. Nonetheless, the place has a "Come on in and sit for a while" feel.

I have been going to this store for years. Everything all of the reviews says is true. One review suggested we take our money elsewhere. The problem with that is; there is no other place to go that has old and new toy trains. The chain stores are more interested in race cars. Charged my CC twice for the same item.

Totally rude and racist owner - saw that I was Indian and gave no attention to me - even when I asked questions on potential purchases. The place is dusty, covered with crusty old boxes with exorbitant prices that are well beyond normalcy - even directly from the manufacturer. They have lots of junk full of dust that the owner has picked up over the years from left over estate sales and tries to sell them a full prices. I can do better at train shows. I would never bring my kids here - what to eat dust and get rude eye stares? No way.

They are one of the few true model train stores left where you can find everything from brand new all in one sets, to repair tools to amazingly beautiful, great condition antique trains. It's hard to walk in and not be a kid again. The staff is so helpful, I find it hard to believe that you won't find something special for your model train set in here either by browsing, or from the incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff. On a personal note, I brought my two and half year old son in early on morning, and they turned on the model display just for him, and even set up a stool so he could watch the trains. This place has my business for life. Not just one my once a year purchase for my wife, but when I start to build a model train set with my son when he's old enough. Do yourself a favor, visit it and enjoy it for yourself.
