Been here a few times and tried the marinated chicken and steak tips and have been impressed. Today I bought the Asian Steak Tips and was blown away. Also tried their 3 types of Sausages (Original, Hot and Chinese)… 100% worth a try! Great quality product at a fair price.

I asked for chuck since it wasn't on display -- they went and opened a new bag and cut me two steaks to order. Said it was my first visit and I believe his name was Joe, he shook my hand and asked my first name. Meat looks great, service is fantastic, will come again.

Our culinary class from Clifford Academy visited this impressive shop to buy veal for a special recipe. Joe the Butcher was extremely kind and welcoming to all of us. He showed us the ins and outs of the business and shared what made him want to become a butcher. The shop itself is exquisite and extremely clean, and the quality and freshness of the meat and seafood is terrific. They even carry specialty hard-to-find wild game. We came away saying we can't wait to go back!

Dona Ana's is my favorite place in town aside from my own house! I have been going here once a week (if not more) since they opened and I have not been let down once. I'm not exaggerating when I say everything here is top notch - steaks, salmon, reserve bone-in pork chops, the stuffed scallops, the stuffed peppers, and homemade sausages and marinades are just SOME of my favorite things. I used to travel once a month to Crochetti's for my butcher cuts and now a better spot is just down the street. The seafood and game meat selection will surprise you and if you don't see what you want - Joe and his team will make it happen. In fact, I'll be there today to pickup my Thanksgiving Turkey too!

I’ve been impressed in the 3/4 times I have been just recently finding out about Dona Ana. To start, Joe and staff are very friendly when you walk in, offering suggestions and knowledge. Their pricing is very competitive which is appreciated. I’ve had baby back ribs, steaks, sausages, and stuffed clams so far. Just today picked up a whole pig for the weekend. Joe kept me up to date with delivery info, put it in the car himself and even loaded me up with ice. Last piece of advice is to try the Meat Church rubs they carry.

Had to try this place since heard rave reviews and stopped in. This place has quite a selection of speciality meats and seafood, some marinated, some prime cuts and fresh live lobster, shrimp, clams, oysters and even crab legs and some stuffed shrimp as well and a nice selection of salmon. The steak tips here marinated and chicken is excellent and beats the Shaws and Big Y up the street, especially since this is small business support and although prices are a bit higher, the quality is better and you feel good supporting the place. I think this may be owned by next store Novato's Restaurant which is also a nice place to stop and grab a bite. In all friendly staff, decent prices and a great selection, plus they even have some sides like potato and macaroni salad, some produce and even marinades and seasoning. Glad I stopped in,.
