Great food, great brews, good prices and awesome staff. Watch the river flow by and this Gypsy Nickle Lounge is right on point. Probably my very favorite restaurant in town.

Really enjoyed the Gypsy Nickel. When we got there, the restaurant was about to put us on a wait list, but they were able to find us a table inside to accommodate the nine of us. The appetizers were fast to the table and the meals came at the right time afterwards. My teenage daughter got a virgin Pina Colada and she loved it. I was thankful for a vegan option on the menu. The service was fantastic! I believe our waitress was new, but she did an excellent job serving us all. Highly recommend, especially if you're visiting from out of town like we were.

The Gypsy Nickel is a Big Rapids staple and it never fails to have good food and drinks at a reasonable price. The inside dinning has large booths that are surprisingly comfortable for the wood material, and the outside dinning lends itself to a view beside the Muskegon River on the quiet end of town. When my wife and I most recently ate there, we shared an appetizer, each of us got tasty burger meals + drinks and it was just a smidge over $50 after a 20% tip.

Good beer, delicious food, nice atmosphere, great servers. The Philly is amazing, as is the Gyro. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

It was a very long wait for anyone to even take our drink order, the waitress was very good once she realized that we were seated in her area. The burger was good, pretzel bun was very good.

Great place! They have awesome food with a good selection of drinks to choose from, no matter what you prefer. Their menu has many options, unfortunately not many gluten-free items (bummer). Karaoke night is a blast!

Went here on a whim! The ambiance is fantastic outside next to the river! The food was fantastic! Service was also fantastic! No wait time and our food came out fast!
