I am a condo owner and the following are my personal opinions based on the service that I have received from the Highlander Group: I would never recommend this company to my family, friends or acquaintances. I don’t enjoy living in this building anymore. The metal hinge of our main door was left hanging ajar without repair for weeks which could have potentially caused serious injury to a resident or visitor - the property managers at this company have no sense of liability, resident safety or reasonable maintenance standards. In addition the lack of timeliness of repairs is a huge issue - repairs will be delayed for weeks and then are finally done so poorly that they need to repeat the same repair again in a few weeks or months. All aspects of our building, interior and exterior, look significantly worse for wear since we hired the Highlander Group and I no longer feel that it is a safe place to live. The attitude of the managers is often rude, disrespectful and I have even experienced the illegal withholding of information pertaining to my real estate investment - had to use the support of a lawyer to get my ownership rights honored ! Astonished at the complete incompetence of this company.

The Highlander group is a new management group for Lake Ridge Condos in Waterford. My three stars is tentative until I have more time to access their performance. The lawn maintenance here has been going down hill since the pandemic. I talked to Angie and she said she is aware of the problem and has promised to contract with a good maintenance company that will return our association to the well maintained look we had previously. I will check back in April of 2023 and she if her promises are kept

Pathetic response from this group. I need to keep calling them and leave voicemail though they will not return the call. Even when you send any request in mail it will not taken care. it is waste of money paving to the association as nobody cares to respond

If this system would provide the opportunity to award NO STARS, I would have rated “0” stars. In my experience, The Highlander Group is unresponsive, uninformed (the current PM relies on a co-owner to cite the Rules & Regs!), uncaring and very unprofessional. The current PM is very often abrasive; at times, she’s patronizing and condescending and generally very difficult to work with. Getting a straight-forward answer to very simple questions is akin to pulling teeth! Her predecessor was extremely slow to act on issues and did not follow-up on contracted work to the property. Or, at least, did not follow-up with me, the co-owner. Follow-up fell to me (come to think of it, it still does!!). I’ve heard similar comments made about THG from several of my neighbors in Pine Knob Enclaves so this isn’t, apparently, one opinion out of 67 co-owners. Just the 1 that’s visible in this Google review. In my experience, having worked with several Property Management Companies, The Highlander Group is at the very low end of a spectrum of capability, performance and professionalism.

Wow! Looks like The Highlander Group is working overtime to recruit board members to write positive reviews of their services. Interesting that all the reviews written by board members are glowing and all the reviews written by co-owners are negative. In my experience, I’ve only ever encountered rude, unresponsive, unhelpful people when dealing with The Highlander Group. My neighbors (not board members) all tell the same stories. Such a shame that our association fees are used to pay for this "service".

As Board President of our condo community, I can speak for all of our residents in saying what an outstanding job that The Highlander Group does in managing our community. Not only are they very responsive to any issues brought to their attention, they also have a network of extremely qualified contractors they utilize to handle maintenance and repair issues we have. The Highlander Group is 100% better than our previous property management company!

I have found everyone to be very pleasant to work with, as they’re fair minded and very kind. I’d highly recommend Highlander Group if you’re considering a new property management company. They are a great group of professionals.

Our condo Association has been with The Highlander Group for over a year now. Our Board and co-owners appreciate the service we have received from them. Two major projects, roads, and roofs, are nearly complete and the appearance of the community has attracted new co-owners. We have found that they attend to concerns in a timely fashion and show a high level of attention to detail. I would highly recommend them to any Association looking for a property management company.

I have had the pleasure of working with The Highlander Group, specifically Kathleen LaBrosse for many years. As a contractor, it is extremely important to have an organized manager, who is responsive and knowledgeable. My experience, year after year, with The Highlander Group has been a manager/owner who is consistently organized, responsive and knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for her community, as well as, her contractor.

I am on the homeowners' board of directors for my community, and I cannot speak highly enough about the Highlander Group. They are the third management company that we have used, and they are by far head and shoulders above the rest. They are knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and on top of all issues that arise. I would recommend them to any community looking for a quality management company.
