This place has gone so far downhill from when I ate here before Covid I'm honestly amazed it's still open. We waited almost two hours to get our food, which ended up being terrible. The appetizer (baked potatoes) was delivered cold after 45 minutes with no advertised side of sour cream, no plates, and no silverware. Our party of four was all but forgotten by multiple waitresses. The beef au jus I ordered came cold, without the au jus, and when I requested the au jus I was brought a cup of literal lukewarm grease. We had no salt and pepper and no condiments. Its safe to say that my family and I will not be returning.

We went for Mothers Day and were very disappointed. There was food all over the floor where we were sitting. Dishes were wet and dirty. The explanation was that the dishes are going in at 100 mph but not to worry they are sanitized.. I am not exaggerating when I say that the first water pitcher looked like it came right out of the garden. The 2nd still had some kind of sauce on it. Food was cold and hard. But the waitress was great! She's the only reason I could justify giving at least 2 stars. Sure we were given a discount but it was not a good experience. I do not recommend.

This place was.... Interesting..... I went there for the Easter brunch and was pretty disappointed. The food was lackluster, edible but I can't say I particularly enjoyed any part of it especially when at the end it came out to about $35 a person. The dishes where dirty with visible leftover food, the food was generally soggy and lukewarm, and I had cake for desert that was very dry. Our waitress was very nice and I think she did a great job considering how busy it was but the rest of the staff running the food kept bumping into me and pushing past me. It was annoying but I am young so it wasn't really a problem but there were a lot of elderly people and honestly I was worried for them. I would definitely not return here or recommend it to anyone, at least for brunch.

With Mother’s Day and MSU graduation falling on the same weekend, we were having a tough time finding a place to celebrate with my mother in law. She saw the Mother’s Day brunch at Brookshire advertised and we were thankful we could get a reservation. Unfortunately the experience was so lackluster, I wouldn’t recommend spending a special event here to anyone. We waited ten minutes for our server to take drink orders; when she came by, she explained the food stations and said they had trouble with the heat sources, so some of the food wouldn’t be hot. She said they could heat it up in the back, but it made the quality and safety of the food questionable. Plates at both the soup station and the hot food area were wet, very wet, and some had food still on them. At one point there were no plates at all. We returned to our table to find that we were seated at the wrong table and our things were moved to the next table over. The food was just OK. Our server was very sweet but didn’t bring the mimosas we ordered until we asked about them when we were done eating. The restaurant was out of milk, out of some of the dessert options (our server was very nice to our girls and brought them scoops of ice cream), and ultimately this was a very expensive brunch for a disappointing meal.

I have a pretty had time writing a negative review. Just look at my profile. BUT we went for Mothers Day brunch and it was a very poor experience. Food was cold and hard, plates were wet and literally had chucks of food on them. The "Waffles" were eggo, not kidding. Biscuits were hard, Eggs were stone cold. For $30 per person it was a huge disappointment. The owner came out and blamed us for coming at the wrong time (2 pm) & for trying to eat breakfast food in the afternoon. Not kidding, OUR fault. The waitress was so amazing though, she sincerely apologized and was awesome. Would be 1 star without her great attitude. We got a discount but some of our peeps didn't even eat any of their food. Never again. Dont fall for it.

We went for Easter brunch/dinner. Worst experience ever. Waited 30 min to even see a server after we were seated. No clean plates at the buffet, food was dry, cold, or hard. Tasteless, the only thing that was warm and had flavor was the baked chicken. We waited over 45 minutes for our drinks. Food almost gone.they barly refilled any food and what was refilled was barly warm. Never once did a manager come to check on anyone dinning. We were so excited to come there with our family. Buffett was not kid friendly AT ALL. 14.99 for kids and my grandson at fruit and chicken. Mcdonalds would have been better.

Valentine’s Day dinner with my forever Valentine. Delicious pre fix menu selections… Oysters, Gouda bacon bites, prime rib, salmon and to top things off creme brûlée for dessert (petitioning to get this on the regular menus). Everything was delectable. Love that this little gem is our neighborhood staple. Cheers!

Just a note to let you know that every aspect of our party came off wonderfully! The room was beautiful the food was great. Everybody had seconds! And Peggy and Terry were the best. So helpful and high end service. Thank you for everything. Couldn’t be more pleased. Not to mention the beautiful views. Wow! Would definitely book the Brookshire for another event!

My husband and I got married at Brookshire in June 2020. We had a fantastic experience! We were fortunate enough to be able to keep our original wedding date with some slight modifications. The event staff at Brookshire was very accommodating by allowing us to spread out the tables to allow social distancing and even allowed us to reserve a few tables outdoors. The food was great and the facility is beautiful! It really was the helpful staff that took the event to the next level though. Thank you to the catering and event staff for making our wedding unforgettable!

Great outdoor experience and amazing wait staff and food!! We had the tiki hut all to ourselves and we tried the traverse city salad, the fish basket, the bisque, the onion rings, sweet potato fries, steak bites, chips and queso, brussel sprouts, and coconut shrimp and they were all delicious as well as our drinks 🍸 It was SO nice to sit and eat and enjoy each other's company! We will be back 😊
