Went for a birthday lunch, 9 in total attendance. The owner knew we were coming, was late to open at the 11:30 scheduled time. I personally, would have been there getting things ready for a scheduled birthday lunch but that's just me. Food and service was mediocre at best. Atmosphere, small-town bar and grill with the same old local old guys bellied up to the bar where you will find them till their wives or their maker calls them home.

Tracy and staff have taken great care of us for years. Food is great, service is great, bar stocked, just an all around good time. The Prime Rib is fantastic as is everything on the menu. Breakfast on the weekends os also the bomb. Thank you for taking care of us all this time.

Tracey and her staff are very friendly and awesome to talk to and Heidi makes you feel like your family while your there. Tracey is an amazing chef. Her food is the best food in a 200 mile radius. It’s made with 40 years of love. I would recommend eating at Frank n Stein you won’t be disappointed at all. In the Triple “D” world this would be considered a dive bar and I’m ok with that because it’s an awesome place to go for great food.

We took our Grandson here for breakfast, at his request, and the place was great. A home cooked meal that really hit the spot. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich with an order of potatoes on the side!!

Food was very good prices very good but best of all their customers are wonderful. Because their credit card machine was malfunctioning before I could write a check the lovely couple at the next table paid my bill! God bless them. Definitely go again to try the prime rib sandwich.

Good food, juicy burgers with light and fluffy buns, friendly staff and good service. The only reason I’m leaving a 4/5 stars is because the decor needs an update. I was there with my parents, when we sat in the dinning room there was a tub where they set up their salad bar, according to my parents that tub was there 35 years ago when they came for an anniversary dinner. The dinning room was very dark when we ate there, which was a little depressing to me seeing as we were there at 12:35 pm for lunch. However, if you’re looking for great burgers I definitely recommend coming here, great food!

Great bar and restaurant. Good times are waiting for you here. Drink prices are always low with awesome happy hour specials. This place is known for its great steaks, fish, burgers, pizza and appetizers. Mostly a cool, mellow crowd during the day. Things can get fun at night with the juke box or even live music playing playing in the background- but if you just came to eat and relax there is a dining area separate from the bar.

3.5 Stars. This was my 1st visit. It"s a small, simple & very casual family owned neighborhood bar located in Byram, MN. The bartender was very warm & friendly. They also offer a few, apparently good, homemade foods, e.g. pizza. I purchased a frozen chicken & bacon & ranch, thin crust pizza to bring home. I haven't cooked it yet. But it's homemade & looks good. The alcoholic beverages were fairly basic and were reasonably priced. The ladies room was small but clean which is always an important factor. To be honest, I only went b/c the friends I was with roommate was in a pool tournament. However, it is not my usual type of place, at all, and for that reason alone I really wouldn't be interested in going again. Nevertheless, it was okay and I had fun with my friends.
