My 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo was dropped off at the shop last November 2018 from Fame Custom Hot Rods. I had spoken to the owner Mark weeks before reguarding this new build in my monte. His time estimation was approx 6 weeks once they received the car. They had the car for about 8 months before it was sent back to Fame. Fame recurved it around the 10th of July. I have not been able to test drive the car and there was no dyno done on the car to compare the starting hp to the rebuilt final hp. Before the build mark and I discussed getting about 100 more hp at the wheels. I have no idea if that goal was reached. I will need to pay more out of pocket to have it checked myself. The build cost about 13,000 and it did not come with any final warranty on it. I was told too many after market high performance parts added to be given any warranty..?? So in closing I feel as if I was taken advantage of on this motor build because of my lack of knowledge and building time. I would not recommend this Engion shop to anyone asking for special rebuild work.
