This place has seen better days, but the turnip greens are the BEST I've ever tasted. Yams and pulled pork sandwich was good also. The staff is very friendly. I enjoyed my visit.

Once you swipe your debit card at the pump. Never move to another pump. Because once you swipe your card. A hold is put on your funds. Its nor just the $20 you had intended on getting. But it's whatever the balance is on your account. It takes a matter of 45 minutes to a Hour, before your money is transferred back to your account. So dont be shell shock like me. And thinking the pump had cheated me out of my money and they weren't anyway I'd be able to get it refunded. Because its really very simple. Depending on the wait. Your money will go right back into your account. No paper work and no confrontation with the cashiers running the register. Just be patient and you might even get rewarded for being calm and understanding.

On September 23 2020 I stopped here to get some diesel fuel. The price on the fuel was great. .40 cheaper than Loves right down the road. Little did I know that I was getting a tank full of watered down fuel. Now my truck will not hardly run. I will not be back for fuel purchases here.

It's 8:30 Tuesday night and there is still parking. My wife and I had the catfish in the restaurant and it was great. 11.99. The same lady that waits on you, cooks your food and brings it out to you. The employees are polite and helpful. This is an old school truckstop, so if you want fancy and fast, keep going. I enjoyed my time here. I will be back.

Just avoid this place, the bathrooms had not been properly cleaned in months. When my wife called to talk with manager she refused to identify herself and said this was the wrong store. They have a huge dining room and large amounts of ready to serve food. From what I observed in the bathroom I would suggest that eating there would be akin to gambling with your health.
