Much improved after they moved to the new location on Bus Loop. Best place in town for middle eastern and some Asian supplies too. The snack section is amazing.

Best baklava and olives in town. I recently discovered this store and I love browsing the shelves. There is a great range of products at affordable prices. The owner is a gem.

A&Y is alright but doesn't compare to the larger international grocery stores in St. Louis or Kansas City. Some prices are fair. Some prices are absurdly high. Some items are on the shelf with no price and it seems the owner just creates prices on the spot and you're subject to the luck of his mood. They have some items which are unavailable elsewhere in Columbia or mid-MO. It's worth stopping in occasionally. The new location is an improvement over the cramped strip mall space he had downtown.

Owner is a total wise guy. Doesn't price products so he can charge whatever he wants when you go to pay. I get that that's 'traditonal' in some countries but its a lame tradition. I will go back and I will aggressively haggle with him because I'm assuming that's what he wants. I notice its local POC calling him out on his attitude and rightfully so. I don't blame them for him being a total bxstxrd.

Global has just moved to new location on Business Loop I-70 West. I am glad. Now they have better parking & more walking space in between shelves. More wall freezers makes the appearance of store look really good. Now, they have to bring more global & international stuff. Please get busy with your supplier or distributor & bring lots of Indian, Pakistani & Chinese stuff. Columbia is a cosmopolitan place. With right material, you will do good business. I would like you to have HALDIRAM'S PHENI, DEEP'S PACKAGED DOSA, ALOO PARATHA, PHULKA ROTI (UNCOOKED), BHAGVATI METHI THEPLA, DEEP SAMOSA (PUNJABI STYLE) box of 8 pieces. These items are for your freezer. You slready have lot of other items for international customers. May add some SUGAR FREE stuff for Diabetic customers. Columbia is going to have more Afgani refugee families soon. You have to cater for them as well. Keep it up. Good luck.

I love snack collections from multiple Middle Eastern countries. There are several spices that I can only find in this market.

One of the only places I can find the ingredients I need to make Persian dishes. They have such a wide variety of goods, and everything I’ve bought here I’ve been impressed with. I recommend they’re baklava too. It’s only a $1.50 for a big slice, and it tastes so good. The man who works is also very kind.
