Went there yesterday and had a fantastic dinner experience and seeked out the owner to tell her. Came back tonight and my husband and I asked for the same server. We both ordered steaks medium rare. I ordered a rib eye. Sent back 3 times asked for medium rare and kept getting well. Turns out the owner was the cook. She did not see our problems. Said if I just ate it and should have not cut into it to show the well done steak. I told her I loved this place and wanted to work through. She was not eager to work with me told her I would be writing reviews and she said she was never talked to the way I talked to her. She took the steak off my bill but someone else brought my bill and made known we we done there. Moral maybe owner needs not cook. Needs better attitude in situations. Great food great servers. Owners needs to just see what customers and employees see. .

We were a party of five and we're seated at three small round tables put together in the bar area. There were plenty of other tables in the dining room. we were not comfortable with this setup. No small steaks were offered.

Ate dinner here for a date night with my wife. We split a 16oz sirloin with a loaded baked potato. The potato was delicious, the steak was OK. For being cooked on charcoal, I would have expected better flavor, didn't taste seasoned at all, but was still good with some A1. I had seen other tables nearby that had very good looking cheesecake for dessert, unfortunately my wife and I were too stuffed to try dessert. Definitely glad I tried it, but not going to be in a hurry to go back anytime soon.

Absolutely horrible, empty salad bar, couldn't make drinks correctly, prime rib over cooked it was beige, NY strip under cooked, saganaki inedible, only thing good was the diet coke

My second time being here. Classic steak house atmosphere. Excellent cocktails and perfectly cooked steak and lobster! Must have the blue cheese topping!

Friday night date night at Blackhawk Steak Pit - ordered fried cod. It was quite possibly the worst meal I have ever had. My expectation from a place like this would be a hand battered cod fillet - what we received was a cod fillet that resembled a fish stick like you would get in the grocery freezer area. We paid Blackhawk prices for a fast food meal. Super disappointing. The only reason I did not give this 1 star is because the waitress was great.

Great salad bar and The big chief with onions!!!! lots of leftovers and very delicious. I sat at the bar by myself and ate. Bartender was very friendly and a great server.

We're from out of town. Found this place on google and looked at their menu. It looked like fair prices for the food so we went. Their physical menu showed other prices that were much more expensive. But we were already there so we ordered. Found a hair in my burger, it happens. They made me a new one. But 6 hours later, my daughter and I are throwing up the salad bar. I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm kinda glad that hair ruined my appetite...my upset stomach could have been alot worse had I finished eating.

Wow! Awesome restaurant for Steak🥩 Our family enjoyed the atmosphere and ambience. You can actually see the cook, cooking the steaks! Our waitress kept the drinks coming and always was polite & kind. My Rib-eye was cooked to perfection 😋 medium rare. Loved the rice, real good salad, sweet potatoe extra. My husband ordered the Big Chief 36 oz Center cut top sirloin! Delicious! Rare. Definitely going back! Make reservations for sure. Only open Friday thru Sunday.
